If you can’t wait for the new Corvette Z06 with the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 producing 625 horsepower, then head over to Callaway for their S610 tuning package. Not to be mistaken with the golf company, Callaway Cars have taken the 2014 Corvette Stingray and given it a similar appearance and power output to that of the Z06. With the addition of a new supercharger and high performance exhaust system, the standard Corvette now puts down 610 HP and 556 lb-ft of torque. A hefty increase from the factory 455 horses and 460 lb-ft of torque.
With this tuning, Callaway states a new 0 to 60 mph time of 3.4 seconds with quarter mile run at 11 seconds flat. The exit speed on that run was 125 mph but it doesn’t stop there. Their S610 kit also includes extra goodies to the likes of new door sills, embroidered floor mates and a unique plaque under the hood noting the build number. Some final offerings to the Corvette C7 that are completely optional consist of a new coilover suspension kit, carbon fiber aero parts and a new set of rims and tires.
