Here is the latest creation from Kahn Design for the Land Rover Defender using Harris Tweed on the interior. While the exterior was blacked out with new rims and dark tint, the interior received most of the tuners attention. Harris Tweed is a trademarked cloth that is made from pure virgin wool and hand woven by islanders on the Isles of Lewis and Harris, Uist and Barra in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
You can see this special cloth covering parts of the setas, dashboard, headliner, visors, door trim and other selected components inside the cockpit. The stitching and instrument panels have also been matched to the Harris Tweed cloth, while the Land Rover Defender also received a few extra parts including LED B6 headlamps, fender air vents and a chrome exhaust system.
