The tuners from Superchips Ltd. are offering a high performance ECU remap for the new Ford Kuga, Galaxy, Mondeo, and Focus S-Max line of cars. For the certain Ford cars featuring the latest version of the 2.0-liter TDCi turbo diesel engine producing 163 PS, the Superchips technicians have analyzed and determined extra power capabilities. The Ford Galaxy, Kuga, Mondeo, and Focus gained an additional 22 bhp at 3,301 rpm, along with a 89 Nm torque increase. After analyzing the dyno maps, the tuning firm noticed gains throughout the rev range, which improves the overall drive ability, and is the main focus at Superchips.

However, some were questioning the fuel economy with these boosted figures. Driver’s can be reassured that no harm is done, and Superchips is actually able to improve the fuel economy in most cases, since the extra low rev torque is now available for the driver. Customers interested in the Superchips ECU remap for the 2.0 TDCi versions of the Ford Kuga, Galaxy, Mondeo, and Focus S-Max can visit any of the 80 Superchips performance centers for more information.
