Shelby Ford F-150 Super Snake

Updated on

Shelby Automobiles Incorporated has released their latest Super Snake tuning kit on the Ford F-150 models, for years ranging from 2003-2008. Based off of the Shelby Mustang GT500 Super Snake, the upgrades improve performance, handling, and looks. The concept was built by Shelby to see if the public was ready to take on another high performance truck. It features the stock 5.4-liter V8 engine that has been boosted by the tuning company to produce 475 hp. The power is transferred to the pavement through an automatic gearbox, and the Ford F-150 features large 6-piston Shelby brakes for extra stopping power.

The truck pictured here is a 2007 Ford F-150 model, and other companies that were used for parts include Ford Racing, Borla, and Baer. This 2007 F150 received a new hood, bumpers all around, Super Snake black racing stripes, and Alcoa Shelby wheels. Customers have the option of choosing all the customizations, or individual parts to fit their needs. You can get the Super Snake package for the Ford F150 at the Shelby Automotive facility located in Las Vegas, Nevada. They only build a few thousands of these models per year because they strive to maintain a high level of quality and performance for all their modified vehicles.
