Updated on

The Sportec tuning firm released the SPR1 FL based on the current 997 Porsche 911 Turbo with a facelift. It is the successor to the SPR1 R, featuring a new semi-sequential gearbox, LED taillights, rear bumper, and side mirrors. Performance numbers stayed relatively the same, however are still an impressive 858 PS and 880 Nm of torque. The new FL in the name comes from a Smooth Flow intake manifold holding two injectors per chamber. Other tuning performed is the addition of a carbon ram air intake, two hybrid turbos, and a performance intercooler.

The new 6-speed manual transmission received a Sportec high performance clutch, along with oil cooling for the AWD system with a limited slip differential. It has a 60/60 percent locking effect for maximum performance. At the track, the Sportec Porsche SPR1 FL can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds flat, hit 200 km/h in just 9.7 seconds, and reach a top speed of 380 km/h.
