The car wrapping specialists at CUT48 have given the Mercedes SLR McLaren a whole new look with a bright blue foil wrap. While this sports car remains very expensive and highly sought after by collectors due to the brand and history, pricing from the tuners remains affordable.
For this project the blue and black gloss car wrap was stretched on for €4,350 or $5,800.
To go along with the new exterior look, the Mercedes SLR McLaren received a modest power boost from Edo Competition who is well known for their tuning expertise. They were able to increase the output from 617 HP to 711 horsepower while the torque was also raised from 780 Nm to 890 newton meters.
This results in a new Mercedes SLR McLaren sprint time from 0 to 200 km/h in less than 10 seconds while reaching a top speed of 345 km/h or 215 mph which is electronically limited and has wondering why they would do such a thing.
