Wimmer RS Mercedes C63 AMG

Wimmer RS recently revealed the AMG Performance Package Plus dubbed as the Dunlop Performance for the Mercedes C63 AMG. This sports car was designed to compete in the Tuner’s Grand Prix at the Hockenheim circuit, where it took the second place prize. For the track, the most important upgrades were the ECU upgrade, new exhaust manifold, K&N sport air filter, and improved air intakes under the hood. Suspension came next with a high performance KW3 Club Sports coilover system installed on the Mercedes C63 AMG.

All these improvements from Wimmer RS result in a 53 horsepower gain from the 6.3-liter engine, boosting the total output to 540 hp. At the track it was enough to accelerate the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 4.4 seconds, while reaching an electronically limited top speed of 308 km/h.  This is much better than the previous limiter of 250 km/h, and the new high performance Dunlop Sportmaxx GT tires were put to the test with those speeds on this Mercedes AMG.
