Updated on

Vorsteiner has released the latest tuning package for the Porsche 997 Turbo which consists of a special aerodynamic kit and a new forged wheel package. Up front the car has a new front apron with large carbon fiber air intakes for the radiators and a removable dry carbon fiber spoiler which adds additional down force to the front and also protects the front apron from any road bumps. The car tuning company tried to maximize weight savings in the front side and they removed the car’s fog lights and replaced stock air ducts and hardware made from plastic with carbon fiber parts which are really light. The rear side received a new rear bumper with enlarged side intercooler vents that will improve the car’s airflow a lot. It also features a new rear diffuser made from carbon fiber with integrated twin aero fins and  quad sport exhaust tips.

The rear end of the Vorsteiner Porsche 997 Turbo V RT Edition is completed with a carbon fiber composite rear deck engine cover with twin air scoops that will improve the engine cooling a lot. The car’s final appearance could be also enhanced by installing a carbon fiber wing which will also increase down force to the rear at high speeds. The car sits on 7 spoke 3-piece forged wheels which are equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. Wheels comes in sizes of 19″ and customers could choose from a variety of finishes.

The new Porsche 997 Turbo V-RT Edition from Vorsteiner Race Technologies will be available for world wide release after March 23rd, 2009.
