Even though we haven’t seen an official announcement for the retiring of the BMW M3 E92 model, Vorsteiner has released this kit with a hint. They stated that this BMW M3 GTRS5 program will be “commemorating the retiring” of the famous coupe. The car tuning firm plans to continue the GTRS widebody series with the new BMW model, however it’s going to be hard to not like this M3 kit.
The BMW GTRS packages have always been over the top with very wide arch extensions and some aggressive styling for the front and rear bumpers. This GTRS5 package also includes a new lip spoiler, side skirts and boot that integrates a new rear spoiler. The vented carbon fiber hoods found on the Vorsteiner BMW tuning projects are extravagant, but fit well with the new alloy rims wrapped in Nitto Invo high performance tires.
A minor performance tweak is a titanium exhaust system to allow the sports car to breathe easier. Also noted, production numbers for the Vorsteiner BMW M3 GTRS5 kit will be extremely limited to only 40 units worldwide.
Amazing work by Vorsteiner as is to be expected. It’s a shame that this type of work is so expensive and out of reach of the DIY tuner. The complete interior an exterior treatment down to the Nitto Invo tires really does make this supposedly last gen E92 le package totale. May be unattainable by your average Joe but, nonetheless, it’s great eye-candy.
Perfection is what come sot mind while seeing this kit. Functionality and performance is improved too. The front bumper is designed with vertical vents for smooth flow of air inside. The longer air fins create a good down force… I like it better as the performance will increase manifolds 🙂
