Nissan GT-R Chrome, White, and Matte Black Car Wraps

Here we have an extreme tuning enthusiast who took his Nissan GT-R and wrapped it matte white at first, then decided to wrap it in chrome! It’s a little ridiculous in my opinion and definitely flashy, but the matte white looks good with the black wheels. It’s amazing what some people will pay to customize their car, the matte white car wrap alone costs $2,640. The chrome was even more expensive and took almost two weeks to complete the Nissan GT-R. The guy who wrapped his in chrome has a friend who also wrapped his GT-R in the common matte black which always looks good.

APP Nissan 370Z

Based out of Landsberg, the tuning specialists at Advanced Performance Parts (APP) have chosen the Nissan 370Z for improvements. The guys at APP Europe are true Japanese car lovers and have previously modified the Nissan 350Z and GT-R models. The white Nissan received striking three-piece 20 inch Oxigin Lexor wheels in black in white, wrapped in 245/30/20 tires in the front, and 275/30/20 in the rear. Underneath the 370Z is a MR Car Design stainless steel exhaust delivering the proper sound. For the sporty look they installed a KW option 3 coilover kit that lowers the car 30 mm and improves the driving experience.

Vivid Racing Nissan GT-R receives Vorsteiner Carbon Fiber Body Kit

Vorsteiner is well known for their aero kits on BMW models, but recently they developed the Ventross body kit for the Nissan GT-R that Vivid Racing installed on a customers car. All of Vorsteiner’s carbon fiber and DVWP bumpers, trunks, and spoilers have amazing looks and styling for your car, along with perfect OEM fitment. Previous write-ups we have from Vorsteiner include the Vorsteiner GTS3 BMW M3 and the Vorsteiner Porsche 997 Turbo. Vivid Racing has installed the Ventross aero kit on this Nissan GT-R with great success, and also offer customizations for several other makes and models that can found at Vivid Racing Tuning. This 2010 pearl white R35 Nissan GT-R received a new front bumper that is much more aggressive, as well as several other parts to distinguish it from the norm.

Senner Tuning Nissan 370Z

Only a few months after the Nissan 370Z launched in Europe, Senner Tuning has created a performance upgrade package for the sports car. Under the hood of the 370Z is a true performer capable of producing 331 hp from the V6. The 3.7 liter engine received a new air filter and sport exhaust system which increased its performance another 21 hp. Included in the Nissan 370Z package is the KW Variant 3 coilover suspension kit that can be adjusted in the front from 15 to 50 mm, and 10 to 45 mm in the rear. KW is known to be one of the best suspension companies in the world, and they guarantee satisfaction with all their products.

Avus Performance Nissan GT-R Black Edition

Berlin car tuning company Avus Performance has unveiled a line of car styling and performance parts for the all new Nissan GT-R. Beginning with the base model Nissan GT-R, Avus transformed it into their “Black Edition” by wrapping the car in matte black body vinyl adhesive foil. The foil is priced at 2,499 euro and isn’t a bad consideration for any vehicle since it adds an extra layer of protection. The stealth look was accomplished by painting the 20 inch wheels black which are priced at 999 euro, and wheel spacers are available for an extra 349 euro. A coilover suspension was also installed to lower the vehicle, and Avus Performance offers the set up for 1,299 euro. The exterior may look a little plain on the Nissan GT-R, but the engine definitely received some fine tuning.

Stillen Nissan GT-R Rally Car

Stillen has taken the stock Nissan GT-R and modified it into a true rally car that will compete at the upcoming Targa Newfoundland rally race. The new Nissan GT-R received several car tuning parts to make it faster, lighter, and improve handling for the upcoming race. Stillen experts focused on an extreme weight saving program by replacing stock pieces with carbon fiber, and removing unnecessary components. Then they modified the engine, installed an aftermarket suspension, bigger brakes, and a nice sounding exhaust system. Keeping the stock motor set in place, Stillen took the Nissan GT-R Rally Car and tuned the ECU, along with all the aftermarket parts for a total output of 620 hp. At the track it is able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in only 2.9 seconds, one of the few tuned cars to break the 3.0 second mark.

Senner Tuning Nissan 350Z Roadster Thunder

Senner Tuning brings us the highly modified Nissan 350Z Roadster Thunder today, with a new package that improves looks and performance. The Nissan 350Z is powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 engine which outputs 338 hp over the stock 301 hp. For the performance increases, Senner Tuning optimized the ECU, added a new exhaust system, and a carbon airbox. On the exterior are a variety of interesting additions, including Lambo doors from LSD which I doubt add much value since Lambo doors seem to be a mod of the past. A new front grille, front fender, and rear spoiler with an integrated brake light are included as well. The Nissan 350Z Roadster Thunder by Senner Tuning also rides on 20 inch chrome polished wheels wrapped in Continental tires.

Cobra N+ Nissan 370Z

Nissan factory tuners, Cobra N+ is known for amazing customizations for both the Nissan 370Z and GT-R. Their concept for the 370Z sports car does not have any major engine modifications or tuning, however the aerodynamic and handling improvements were enough to satisfy customers. Cobra N+ has manufactured lightweight wheels with six double spokes measuring 19×9 in the front, and 19×10 in the rear. Trying to keep the overall weight of the vehicle to a minimum, the lightweight rims are linked to an aftermarket spring kit that lowers the car by 30 mm. There is an optional coilover suspension setup available that adjusts the ride height between 20 and 40 mm. Aerodynamic improvements for the Nissan 370Z are a diffuser custom fitted into the factory rear bumper, carbon fiber front spoiler, and custom cutouts in the rear to accommodate the larger Cobra N+ sport exhaust system.

Nismo Nissan GT-R

Nissan has launched their Nismo brand upgrade for the brand new Nissan GT-R which will boost the power numbers significantly. The upgrade will tune the engine and add transmission management software, but the only way to get the package is by renting it. The ECU upgrade and TCM start out at a two year price of 294,000 yen ($3,090 USD) and if you wish to continue to have it installed after the two years, there is a $330 yearly rent fee. What’s convenient about this modification is that it is a standalone program which can be installed easily on any GT-R model and also the SpecV.

Ventross Nissan GT-R R35 Skyline

Car tuning specialists Ventross, have released their Nissan GT-R R35 Skyline package using ideas from their parent company Vorsteiner. The tuners developed a new body kit, and in the front, large carbon fiber air intakes were added throughout to increase airflow to the radiators and brakes. A solid front lip was installed that gives the appearance of a lower than normal Nissan GT-R, and all parts included in the front fascia are made using Vorsteiner’s dry carbon fiber vacuum technology. This new technology allows their company to maximize the overall strength of the carbon fiber, while at the same time reducing the weight more than the average carbon fiber piece.

Switzer P700 Nissan GT-R

Switzer Performance Innovation (SPI), a car tuning company from Ohio, have released details on their P700 package for the highly anticipated Nissan GT-R.  With over 15 years experience tuning all different imports from Europe to Japan, Switzer Performance was able to get 700hp out of this GT-R, hence the ‘P700’.  SPI is well-known for tuning Porsche’s and recently introduced the 1,000 hp Sledgehammer 997.   However, for this project they aimed to maintain a reliable and everyday driver at 93 octane. At stock the new Nissan GT-R is able to produce 480 hp and 434 ft-lbs of torque.  So the first major upgrade SPI decided to go with were brand new Garrett GT ball-bearing turbochargers with custom compressor wheels to increase the boost.

Nismo Nissan 370Z

Nissan made its debut at the New York Auto Show and many of you have probably seen the commercial of it drifting on television. Since the Nismo 350Z debuted two years ago, Nissan has made several improvements to the 370Z by giving it a 3.7-liter V6 engine, and few external and performance revisions. These upgrades project the 370Z to yield 350hp and 276lb-ft of torque at 5,200rpm. Derived from the Japanese S-Tune model, the 370Z was designed in the United States in a partnership with Japanese tuner Autech.
