Knight XV Debut at Top Marques Monaco

|

Updated on

For the first time in Europe at the 2011 Top Marques Monaco, the Canada-based company Conquest Vehicles will debut their custom luxury armored car called the Knight XV. In a limited production of only hundred cars, the Conquest Vehicle company says it defines the futures of handcrafted fully armored luxurious rides. It comes powered by a 6.8-liter Ford V10 engine with an E-85 ethanol conversion, and currently holds the title as the largest armor built SUV in the world by military vehicle designs. The Knight XV takes about three months to build, with a total of 4,000 hours by hand, and put together from the ground up.

Based off a specially modified Ford F550 chassis, the V10 produces 400 horsepower to go along with a 151 liter petrol tank, 5-speed automatic transmission, and 4-wheel-drive. The custom wheel package consists of new rims and Mickey Thompson Baja Radial ATZ tires with ballistic run flats meausring LT40/13.5/20. There will definitely be more pictures of the beastly Knight XV when it debuts at the Top Marques Monaco tuning show in April. Stay tuned!
