From the factory, the Volkswagen Passat CC or simply known as the Volkswagen CC holds a 3.6-liter V6 engine producing 280 horsepower in North America and 295 HP in Europe. Tuning company MR Car Design figured this wasn’t enough for enthusiasts, so they developed a package to boost those figures and have the car reach its full potential.
With the addition of a HGP Turbo Upgrade, the tuners were able to increase the CC power from the stock 295 HP to 495 horsepower while the torque was also raised from 350 Nm to 700 newton meters. To accommodate this significant boost, MR Car Design needed to hook it up with Stoptech ST-40 brakes, a KW coilover suspension kit and H&R front and rear stabilizers.
Once they got the car handling properly, a new set of 18-inch OZ alloy rims wrapped in high performance tires were fitted at the four corners. Besides the new set of wheels, the Volkswagen Passat CC was left stock in all other areas of the exterior styling except for the new twin tailpipes.
