The most powerful SUV has arrived: G-Power turned a BMW X5 into a Typhoon with 525 HP and an incredible muscular design. The car is equipped with with a V8 engine that could take this vehicle to a top speed of 275 km/h, setting new standards for SUVs in its class. G-Power made a striking body kit which consists of new fender flares and aprons designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency developed by the G-Power designers using the latest CAD technologies. All body kit elements were made from PUR-R-Rim plastics in OEM quality. The curved fender flares on front and rear and add seven centimeters to this X5’s width and will also create necessary space for extra-wide wheels and tires. The largest version of this car features G-Power Silverstone Forged Edition wheels sized 11Jx23″ on the front axle and 12Jx23″ on the rear axle. These wheels were custom made for this car and come with high performance tires sized 315/25 ZR23 from Michelin.

The car’s front apron dominates the face with wide fenders and large air ducts which improve cooling of engine and front brakes and it has a sophisticated shape which reduces aerodynamic lift on the front axle. Typhoon received a rear apron that has two tailpipes made from stainless steel and an interesting rear diffuser. The new rear apron reduces lift on the rear axle together with a rear spoiler that stretches the car’s roofline.

The car has new rocker panels which connects front and rear flares and feature five integrated blue LED lights each that will illuminate the ground on either side of the vehicle. G-power also integrated their blue illuminated logo on the top of the rocker panels and customers could get a four-piece underbody paneling for 14,500 Euros. The car tuning company collaborated with ASA Engineering to develop a supercharger system for the eight cylinder engine. The G-Power SK III compressor system will add 170 HP to the car’s 4.8L engine taking it to 525 HP at 6,100 rpm and will also increase maximum torque to 600 Nm at 5,300 rpm from 475 Nm.

This BMW X5 received a two piece carbon fiber intake manifold, a new large aluminum intercooler and a fully stainless steel high performance exhaust with racing catalysts that makes this Typhoon sound crazy. With all these performance improvements this X5 could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds, it has a 0 to 200 time of 18.4 seconds and it could reach a top speed of 275 km/h.

The car’s interior can also receive exclusive accessories like a new sport steering wheel, a Typhoon design speedometer and a lot of aluminum accessories that will make this BMW X5 look sportier. G-Power can also cover the car’s interior with exclusive leather and Alcantara in any colors.
