The tuners at D2Forged took the Chevy Corvette ZR1 and decided to improve a sports car that doesn’t really need extra work. If you expected to see a complete Corvette ZR1 tuning package here, well I’m sorry to say this isn’t it. The tuning firm specializes in aftermarket wheels for styling cars, and hooked up this Chevy Corvette with a nice set and some new paint. These wheels offered by D2Forged are available in either 19 or 20-inches, and come with a gloss black center, chrome lip, and chrome rivets. Now the paint job is what caught my attention, the wheels just add a sporty look to the Corvette.
With a chrome exterior paint job, this Corvette ZR1 is sure to flash some people down the road and turn heads. D2Forged offers lowering suspension kits to go along with their wheel packages, and these rims are a perfect fit for any Corvette fan. The wheels don’t require spacers, they are hub-centric, and also accept the OEM TPMS sensors so that they will still feel stock for the Corvette enthusiast. The Corvette ZR1 is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter engine, with performance numbers showing 638 hp and 604 ft-lbs of torque. At the track these fast sports cars perform just as good as the numbers state, running a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, and topping out around 205 mph.
