Here we have a BMW M3 MH3 V8R Biturbo that has been completely transformed by Manhart Racing for the 2012 Essen Motor Show. The tuners took a 4.4-liter V8 out of a BMW X6 M and fit it under the hood of this M3. The amazing swap along with some ECU tuning resulted in a power output of 655 horsepower and 719 lb-ft of torque. With the removal of the electronic speed limiter, the sports car can now reach a top speed in excess of 199 mph or 320 km/h.

G-Power BMW 1-Series M Coupe
The world renowned tuners at G-Power have taken on the new BMW 1-Series M coupe with several upgrades. Starting off with the 3.0-liter turbocharged six cylinder, an elaborate kit was installed to improve performance. It consists of new ECU software, high-flow downpipes, larger intercooler system and custom titanium exhaust that will reduce the weight by 20kg or 44 pounds over the factory unit. The results are impressive with a new output of 335 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. Those who add extra boost to the BMW 1M will see figures around 429 HP and 590 Nm of torque.
Alpha-N Performance BMW M3 Tuning
The tuners at Alpha-N Performance have released some styling and performance upgrades for the BMW M3 E92 models. Under the hood, the V8 powerplant has received a boost of 30 horsepower to bring the total power to 450 HP. This was achieved with the addition of a carbon fiber air box system, Akrapovic high performance exhaust and ECU tuning to wrap it up. Suspension and styling modifications came next for the M3.
Cam Shaft BMW M3 Coupe Wrapped Up
The German car tuners at Cam Shaft have completed a new project based on the BMW M3 Coupe. Since the company specializes in car wraps, they spread a new matte space-gray metallic foil over the sports car. Pricing for this modification is €1,785 or US$2,230 for the body and an additional €715 or US$890 to wrap other visible sections such as the door and cabin area. However, before the wrapping took place, Cam Shaft hooked up the BMW M3 with several aftermarket parts.
Ottowerks Bitchin’ BMW 1602 Truck Conversion
This BMW 1602 has recently been spotted on eBay where it received a full truck conversion by Ottowerks to make it a unique piece of BMW history. This model was a classic for the Bavarian carmakers, which eventually paved the way for the 3-series we all love today. However, since they never released a truck version of the sporty coupe, California based tuners Ottowerks have transformed it.
Vorsteiner BMW M3 GTRS5 Tuning Kit
Even though we haven’t seen an official announcement for the retiring of the BMW M3 E92 model, Vorsteiner has released this kit with a hint. They stated that this BMW M3 GTRS5 program will be “commemorating the retiring” of the famous coupe. The car tuning firm plans to continue the GTRS widebody series with the new BMW model, however it’s going to be hard to not like this M3 kit.
