California-based tuning company Bisimoto Engineering has prepared quite a package for the 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT that will be on display at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. They have hooked it up with forged Arias pistons, Turbonetics turbocharger, AEM water-methanol injection and Bisimoto injectors and Bisimoto connecting rods to boost the tiny 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. It is said to increase the output from the factory 148 HP to over 600 horsepower with these aftermarket parts.
Vice President of Bisimoto Engineering, Hedi Kim said, “When the Elantra GT was introduced by Hyundai, we knew it would be a perfect platform for us to showcase our tuning prowess.” He continued by noting,
“With our experience in forced induction and small-displacement engines, we focused on raw horsepower with this SEMA concept. We think the final product is a great example of just what can be achieved with turbocharging and engine tuning in the present day.”
Besides the extensive tuning for the powerplant, Bisimoto also includes interior and exterior modifications consisting of an ARK body kit, new wheels, coilover suspension kit, JFN roll cage and their very own racing seats and harnesses inside. Be sure to check out the Hyundai Elantra GT competition at the show, however we highly doubt anyone will come close to matching up with this beast.
