AMS Nissan GT-R New Record Track Time

|

Updated on

We now have the true Godzilla in town, the AMS tuned Nissan GT-R has set the standard for all GTR owners with a record quarter mile time of just 9.052 seconds at 166.7 mph. Called the ALPHA 12, this insane car produces an amazing 1,309 horsepower with 994 lb-ft of torque to the all wheel drive Nissan GTR R35. The AMS Performance tuning company still plans to improve the ALPHA 12 GTR track times when the weather and track conditions improve. This was set in 90 degree heat, which we all know takes a toll on performance when it gets that hot outside. Pricing for the ALPHA 12 is not yet available, however we do know that the ALPHA 10 kit for the Nissan GT-R boosts the ouput to 1,000 HP on 93 octane, and costs $63,995. Prepare yourself to be blown away with the video after the jump.
