Vath Mercedes G55 AMG

Updated on

The German tuning company Vath has released both styling and performance upgrades for the all new Mercedes G55 AMG. At the exterior level, the tuners installed a new front front spoiler with side intakes, LED daytime running lights, new hood, and a redesigned rear with sports exhaust system. The Mercedes SUV now rides on a new set of 22″x10″ wheels wrapped in Yokohama ADV ST tires. The windows were tinted very dark, and the automobile received black stripes along the hood, roof, rear, and sides to contrast the white body paint.

Under the hood, the Vath performance engineers hooked up the Mercedes G55 AMG with a new intake manifold, special fuel cooler, the new high performance exhaust, and topped it off with ECU tuning. At the track, this bad boy was able to reach a top speed of 265 km/h from the impressive performance numbers it gained. The Mercedes G55 now produces 680 hp and 840 Nm of torque after the upgrades, so with those figures the tuners had to install larger brakes. Inside, the SUV offers a new multimedia system, Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, and many carbon fiber accessories to add to its sportiness.
