The German tuning company G-Tech has released a new package for the Fiat 500 they are calling the Sportster. This Fiat was lucky enough to be stripped down and chopped up to make it more sporty while receiving a baby blue paint job. However, to make a Fiat 500 a true sports car, performance modifications under the hood are necessary. This is why G-Tech has put together two different packages for the 1.4-liter four cylinder turbocharged powerplant.

Rinspeed Fiat 500 Abarth E2
Swiss car tuner Rinspeed has modified a Fiat 500 Abarth to get more power and better gas mileage but it won’t do this at the same time. They started from a Fiat 500 that has a standard 135 HP and they developed a new engine management system that has one mode for the city and one for the highway. The “E2” system will reduce the engine’s output from 160 HP to 60 HP with one touch of a button. The 60 HP mode is suitable for city traffic and will help the tiny Fiat achieve a 4.0L/100 km fuel usage while the 160 HP highway mode will use 7L/100 km. Rinspeed is one of the first tuners that makes something to reduce the car’s fuel consumption and in the Highway mode their car will get the same HP number as the Fiat 500 Abarth SS.

O.CT Tuning Fiat 500
The Fiat 500 is one of the most popular tiny cars on the market and i’ve seen a lot of different companies that tried to modify cars like this one. O.CT hasn’t done too many modifications at the car’s interior and they tried to maintain the car’s classic look. They lowered the suspension and they’ve installed a new set of rims that are fully painted with black. The engine is the car’s part that suffered a lot of modifications. From the initial 75 HP, the small 1.3L Multijet engine could develeop about 90 HP after installing a new engine cooling unit. The maximum torque is now 180 Nm and for a small car like this one, you’ll surely see a difference at acceleration. This Fiat 500 could reach 100 km/h in just 12.9s.
