For owners of the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider who want a sportier and enhanced look for their ride, then turn to Novitec Rosso for this new kit. The German tuning company unveiled this package for the brand new sports car that was offered to public right after the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Performance specifications from the factory show a 4.5-liter V8 powerplant capable of producing 570 horsepower. After Novitec Rosso got their hands on one, they installed a new carbon fiber air box, aftermarket exhaust system, and wrapped it together with some ECU tuning to output a stunning 601 HP with 420 lb-ft of torque.
At the track, this new power upgrade is good for a top speed of 202 mph, however that is not all the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider received. A new hydraulic suspension kit was installed to lower or raise the front end 40 mm for those pesky speed bumps now found everywhere. New sway bars were connected to stiffen the ride while improving the handling, and lastly some sport springs were hooked up to lower Ferrari 35 mm overall.
Sytling modifications consists of brand new 21-inch alloy rims up front wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero high performance tires which are top of the line these days. The rear end received the same setup with 22-inch wheels giving it a more aggressive appearance. Body customization’s include a new two-piece front spoiler, trim for the front air vents, mirror covers, rear diffuser, and boot lid wing upon which all these parts were constructed with high quality carbon fiber. Inside the Novitec Rosso Ferrari 458 Italia Spider are some minor tweaks for the decorative trims with carbon fiber and custom leather upholstery for the seats.
