Lamborghini Murcielago Replica Based On Toyota MR2

|

Updated on

Here is a unique Toyota MR2 that has been transformed into a Lamborghini Murcielago replica. In the past we have seen this car try to replicate models such as the Ferrari 460 Modeno Spider and Ferrari F430 Spider, however a larger Lamborghini proved to be much more difficult. This was a project from Bulgaria and is based on a second generation 1992 Toyota MR-2.

Two decades ago, the MR2 sports car was perceived as the poor man’s Ferrari because it had a similar body style to the Ferrari 348 and Ferrari F355 models, yet lacked the power and exotic heritage. This particular “Lamborghini Murcielago” holds the factory 2.0-liter four cylinder powerplant that produces 163 horsepower that is transferred to the rear wheels through a five speed manual transmission.

You can check out this Toyota MR2 Lamborghini Murcielago replica on eBay, as the seller is offering it worldwide for a reasonable price of $31,500 USD.
