Another impressive tuning package has been prepared for the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe from the guys at Hennessey Performance. This will be limited to 12 units so get your order in today if interested. Called the V1000, Hennessey hooked it up with a new carbon fiber aero kit consisting of a vented hood, new front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser. These aftermarket parts are wrapped together with a new sport suspension kit to lower the car, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes for superior stopping power, and performance tuning under the hood to bring the real power out.
The 427 LS V8 found in the Cadillac CTS-V is now a twin-turbocharged powerplant with the addition of high-flow cylinder heads, new fuel injectors, crankshaft, intercooler, and a re-calibrated ECU. After all these mods, the Caddy now produces 1,000 horsepower and 950 lb-ft of torque. At the track it should accomplish a sprint time from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. A quarter mile time of 10.9 seconds is possible while reaching a top speed of 230 mph. Prices for these Cadillac CTS-V customizations are unknown at the time, but should be released soon.
