Hamann 2009 BMW 7-Series

Updated on

Hamann is at it again, this time tuning the all new 2009 BMW 7-series, models F01 and F02 from their shop in Laupheim, Germany. Hamann has been around since 1986, specializing in tuning hundreds of BMW cars over the years. They offer the highest quality products, and this package includes modifications all around. Included in the package is a stainless steel exhaust system, engine tuning, aerodynamic body parts, interior customizations, and lightweight alloy wheels ranging from 19-22 inches. The aero kit was installed perfectly by Hamann giving it an aggressive look while also improving the handling and stability by optimizing the airflow across the vehicle.

In the front, a new lip was installed along with LED daytime running lights in the bumper. The rear received two spoilers, one for the roof and trunk to provide extra downforce at the rear wheels, and side skirts are available for the model series F01. There is an optional rear shield for the side skirts that allows the quad pipe exhaust system to mount, but this is only for the models 730d and 740i. Hamann is working on performance mods for the diesel engine that will be available in several stages. Currently only stage 1 is available and has been measured to increase the horsepower by 45 to reach a total output of 290 hp.

For the wheels Hamann bolted on their aluminum one piece DESIGN HM EVO wheels measuring 22 inches and wrapped in 265/30 ZR22 tires in the front and 295/25 ZR22 in the rear. The rims have a nice gloss finish with deep wheel wells, and are guaranteed the highest quality from one piece aluminum. On the interior Hamann added a few extras which include aluminum pedals and foot rests to match their embroidered floor mats.
