If you’re wanting the best bang for your buck, you should consider the newly redesigned Subaru WRX STi tuned by COBB Tuning. They are an American tuning company from the Salt Lake City area that specializes in tuning Japanese makes and models. For this particular build they refrained from major upgrades that would require rebuilding the engine or upgrading the turbo, and instead took the economical approach to attract the daily driven STi’s, and those people who occasionally take them to the track on the weekends. The performance upgrades include a 3-inch downpipe with full catback exhaust, cold air intake, and their AccessPORT system which boosts this Subaru’s stats to 350 hp/353 ft-lbs of torque.
With these upgrades it was able to run a 12.9 second 1/4 mile and the all wheel drive makes an astonishing 4.3 second 0-60 time. COBB also added their Stage 2 Suspension package which consists of sport springs and front/rear anti-roll bars. These suspension upgrades produced amazing handling and braking numbers, however for being a rally car, drivers can expect some unpleasant road noise at times. The gold 18-inch Prodrive GC05 wheels look great and are wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888s, which keep this all wheel drive rally car glued to the pavement.

I’ve always been interested in Subaru cars and this WRX Sti is no exception. After the latest Fast and the Furious movie, Subaru WRX Sti definitely rocks! And I’m sure many noticed the exceptional performance this car exudes in the movie.
COBB Tuning is just as great as this car. 🙂
