German car tuning company Carlsson has modified the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class with several performance and styling upgrades. Starting it off is the RS-kit that delivers better aerodynamic flow for the Mercedes GL-Class. A new front grille was installed along and an aggressive looking front bumper with stainless steel inserts added as well. Along the bottom of the car is a new front lip, side skirts, and 22 inch single-cast alloy wheels called the 1/11 Evo Brilliant Edition. The wheels come wrapped in 295/35 R22 high performance tires from Dunlop and are priced all together at 4,189 euros. To make the wheels fit with the styling improvements, Carlsson hooked up the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class with a suspension tuning kit called C-Tronic Suspension. The suspension package allows the car to be lowered 30 mm while adjusting itself with the riding conditions, and is priced at 1,099 euros.
Performance improvements under the hood consist of engine electronics tuning, and the addition of a new air filter system. The final numbers after the ECU tuning are 435 hp and 600 Nm of torque, which is much better from the factory 388 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. Those modifications are priced at 3,192 euros, but if you would like the diesel tuning it is much cheaper at 1,299 euros. The GL 420 CDI diesel engine will receive a final result of 354 hp, while the GL-Class 320 CDI has a final horsepower figure of 269 hp.
