Tuning company Alpina released their BMW B5 Bi-Turbo Touring edition at the Geneva Auto Show this week. The car is based on the BMW F10 5-series 550i, and challenges the BMW M5 with some new and old features. It comes powered by the 4.4-liter V8, which is twin turbocharged, and tuned to produce 507 PS and 700 Nm of torque. These numbers are precisely 100 PS and 100 Nm of torque more than the 5-series. At the track, the ZF eight-speed Switch-Tronic automatic gearbox allows the BMW B5 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The top speed has been limited to 300 km/h by Alpina, while the fuel economy drops to 10.9 liters per 100km/h. Pricing for these modifications start at €98,800.

At the track, the 0 to 100 km/h was a little slow because of traction problems, but was still less than 4.35 seconds, however the 200 km/h mark was reached in 9.5 seconds, and in just 24.9 seconds it accomplished 300 km/h. Andrew Bynum’s Pimped Out BMW M6

Being a professional basketball player definitely has its perks, and here we have Andrew Bynum of the Los Angeles Lakers showing off his pimped out BMW M6. Out of all the cars he could have picked with his $13.8 million a year salary for the 2010-2011 season, he decided to go with a BMW M6. Personally, I would have just ordered a Bugatti with that kind of money, but the modifications Bynum went with were worth the time. He chose G-Power to increase the performance with a stage 3 kit consisting of a  new supercharger system, ECU tuning, and exhaust system. The result is over 800 horsepower in this custom M6, much more than the factory 500 hp, and he didn’t stop there.
