Senner Tuning BMW Z8

Here we have a classic on our hands, a 1999–2003 BMW Z8 roadster fixed up by the guys at Senner Tuning. The German based aftermarket company decided to give a small performance package to increase the numbers even further. Stock, the BMW Z8 holds the E39 M5 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 400 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. With the Senner Tuning additions of a new air filter, custom exhaust, and ECU tune to bring it all together, new figures show 450 HP and 535 Nm of torque. While these modifications weren’t really necessary, the small sports car can now hit a top speed in excess of 300 km/h or 186 mph.

Senner Tuning BMW X6

A new package for the BMW X6 xDrive40d has been released by the German shop Senner Tuning. The sporty crossover received the works with new performance upgrades along with styling to boot. Starting at the engine bay, the straight six turbocharged diesel found in the BMW X6 received a new air filter and ECU remapping to increase the numbers. After the ECU tune, output jumped from 306 HP and 600 Nm to 336 horsepower and 665 Nm of torque.

Prior Design BMW 3-Series receives M3 Styling

Prior Design has been a busy tuning company recently, releasing several new packages for the BMW 3-Series cars. When compared to the performance of the BMW M3, the 3-Series models can definitely use some help. That’s when Prior Design comes to play with their new aerodynamic wide body kit designed to add some features of the M3 to the simple 3-Series. Why owners wouldn’t trade in their BMW 3-Series and spend a little extra on a real M3 beats me.

Tuningwerk BMW 7-Series 760iL is Super Fast

An impressive upgrade package has been released by the German specialists at Tuningwerk for the BMW 7-Series 760iL. The longer wheelbase model has seen an improvement of power to a satisfying 720 PS and 1090 newton meters of torque. At the track the numbers are even more stunning with a super fast acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds along with a top speed of 350 km/h.

APP BMW 1-Series M

If you desire some extra power for your BMW 1-Series M Coupe, then turn to the APP European tuning company. They have developed a complete package for the BMW consisting of styling and mechanical modifications. Under the hood, APP partnered up with MR Car Design to construct a kit for the 3.0-liter turbocharged straight six. It consists of a larger intercooler, titanium sport exhaust system, and ECU tuning upgrade. Performance numbers for the BMW 1-Series M after the jump.

G-Power BMW X5 Typhoon Update

G-Power is at it again, this time updating the Typhoon kit for the BMW X5 with the xDrive48i model. This car comes powered by a 4.8-liter V8 powerplant, and has received the SK III supercharger system to boost the figures. After the BMW X5 tuning was completed, the car now produces a stunning 525 horsepower and 600 newton meters of torque. At the track it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds while reaching an overall top speed of 275 km/h.

RevoZport BMW 1-Series M

A new tuning kit for the BMW 1-Series M has been released by the guys at RevoZport called the 1M Raze. The main focus was creating a super lightweight carbon fiber body kit that was also designed to be as aerodynamic as possible. It consists of a new front bumper, front splitter, splitter brake duct kit, side skirts, new trunk, trunk lip spoiler, roof spoiler, rear diffuser, and mirrors covers to round it out. A total reduction of 60 kilograms was achieved with the installation of this body kit. It is now stronger because of all the carbon fiber, and RevoZport moved inside the BMW 1-Series M to give it some performance tuning.

Edo Competition BMW M5 Touring

German car tuning company Edo Competition is well known for exotic car projects, however this time they stuck with a more practical budget customizing the BMW M5 Touring model. Calling it the BMW M5 Dark Edition, performance tuning for the 5.0-liter V10 engine consists of a reprogrammed ECU, new air filters, catalytic converters, and a high performance sport exhaust system. This results in a power increase from the factory 500 HP and 521 Nm of torque to 555 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque. On the race track it is capable of a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 4.2 seconds while reaching a top speed of 305 km/h.

TechTec BMW 1-Series

The German tuning firm TechTec has released several upgrades for the BMW 1-Series M coupe. At the highest stage, the car can produce up to 450 PS, however the tuners started off with the intial package boosting it 40 horsepower for €1,500. This results in 380 PS and 580 Nm of torque. If you want to hand over some more money, then for €2,500 the BMW 1-Series will produce 400 PS, but if your going that far you should just have the car maxed out. With an additional €800, TechTec adds a new air cooler and fine tunes the ECU to produce 450 PS and 630 Nm of torque.

Hurry! BMW M3 Frozen Black Edition

BMW has announced they will build 20 of these limited edition BMW M3 Frozen Black Edition coupes for the US market. At a price of $79,650 or around €55,500, this special tuning edition of the M3 features a flat black paint job along with 19-inch GTS wheels to give it a great start in the aftermarket world. These are the most noticeable modifications, however extra unique features include the red brake calipers, red stitching on the black leather, and carbon fiber accents throughout. Performance improvements consist of the BMW M3 lowered 10mm with suspension parts, and a remapping of the EDC/DSC.

Hartge BMW 6-Series Convertible

Here we have another German tuning project, this time from the company Hartge on the BMW 6-Series convertible sports car. There are many tuning companies out there that like to modify the BMW platform. The largest include names such as Hamann, AC Schnitzer, and Prior Design. But Hartge has put out some nice kits for the BMW line of cars, this time for the F12 6-Series convertible. Now this tuning package may be light, but is still aesthetically pleasing. The exterior received new emblems, dual tail pipes, and new alloys rims measuring 19-20 inches. These come wrapped in high performance tires that fit perfectly in the wheel wells, and then the tuners moved to the interior of the BMW 6-Series convertible.

Lumma Design BMW 6-Series Cabriolet

The German tuning firm Lumma Design has turned to the BMW 6-Series Cabriolet for modifications. The specialists at Lumma are known for unique designs and typical German styling, like seen here with the black rear wing on this 6-Series. Included in the new kit is a front bumper, rear bumper, grill inserts, rear wing, and a new exhaust system to improve the sound. It wouldn’t be a BMW tuning project without a new set of wheels, so Lumma Design added their own rims measuring 21×9.5 up front, 21×10.5 at the rear, and come wrapped in high performance tires sized 255/30R21, and 295/25R21 respectively.
