Andrew Bynum’s Pimped Out BMW M6

Being a professional basketball player definitely has its perks, and here we have Andrew Bynum of the Los Angeles Lakers showing off his pimped out BMW M6. Out of all the cars he could have picked with his $13.8 million a year salary for the 2010-2011 season, he decided to go with a BMW M6. Personally, I would have just ordered a Bugatti with that kind of money, but the modifications Bynum went with were worth the time. He chose G-Power to increase the performance with a stage 3 kit consisting of a  new supercharger system, ECU tuning, and exhaust system. The result is over 800 horsepower in this custom M6, much more than the factory 500 hp, and he didn’t stop there.

You can already guess what the P1000 stands for, a whopping 1,000 bhp from the modified automatic transmission to handle all that power. MKB also offers a variety of limited slip differentials for the 6.0-liter V12 Mercedes-Benz.

The tuning company at RENM Performance has released this new package for the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 called the Axiom. A Greek term meaning “being in balance” this Lamborghini received several upgrades for a custom look. Lightweight 19-inch carbon or forged three piece rims were installed, as well as few carbon fiber parts. These include new air intakes, sports filters, and carbon fiber styling for the interior. Performance is a main focus from RENM however, and this modified Murcielago was put to the test.

SKN BMW Z4

A new tuning program for the BMW Z4 has been released by the guys at SKN Motorsport. They were able to increase the cars power to over 400 hp, while also improving the driving dynamics. However, SKN is not your everyday tuning company, and in their latest press release they mention that the company previously modified police cars for undercover work. This BMW Z4 is nothing like a cop car though, but the list of aftermarket parts will have you checking your wallet to see if you can afford it all. Starting off the Z4 kit is a new stainless steel exhaust system with silencers, mufflers, and tailpipes. For better handling SKN installed an adjustable coilover system, and improvements under the hood come next.

Access Evolution Infiniti G37

Here we have some badass pictures from carscoop of a tuning job performed by Access Evolution on the Infiniti G37. In Japan this car is known as the Nissan Skyline V36, but most people here in the states will recognize it as a G37, not a G35. The spider web like rims are definitely unique, but the flat black matte paint job is very interesting. Almost sort of a charcoal color, the only loud part that stands out on this Infiniti are the bright green calipers. The body kit comes from the Exclusive Sport line by Access Evolution, and features a badge less grille, carbon fiber front lip spoiler, carbon trunk spoiler, and a fiber-reinforced plastic trunk spoiler. Two new brake kits were also installed, the larger consisting of 355 mm discs and 4-piston calipers, while the rear received 2-piston calipers and 320 mm brake discs.

CFC Volkswagen Golf GTI

The tuning company at CFC teamed up with MK Soundstyle in Nuess, Germany to put together this custom program for the Volkswagen Golf GTI sport hatch. As far as the exterior goes, the Golf GTI only received a matte silver paint job with a new set of bespoke wheels. The new paint costs 1,500 Euros, while the tuners added a few extra elements to make it more attractive. For the stance on this Volkswagen, CFC installed an upgraded suspension kit that goes for 749 Euros. A new high performance exhaust system from Eisenmann gives it a throaty sound, and the engine tuning came next.

Project Kahn Range Rover Sport RS

This is the new aggressive body kit offered by the notorious Project Kahn for the 2011 Range Rover Sport RS. In our opinion this is one of the best looking kits we’ve seen, and apparently the new body pieces are made from carbon composite which weighs half as much as a normal body kit. The carbon composite also allows better fitment and a high quality finish. Included in this Range Rover Sport package are wider wheel arches for better aerodynamics, new front and rear bumpers, and a wheel package to round things out. A brand new set of 22-inch RS Black rims with white or silver stripe lips complete the exterior styling.

G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RR

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a G-Power tuning project, however new records have been set with the release of the four door BMW M5 Hurricane RR. At the track the car was able to reach an amazing 372 km/h, with a 0 to 100 k/h time of just 4.35 seconds. Contributing to the world’s fastest sedan title is a redesigned twin supercharger system consisting of ASAT1-316 units, and new internals for the 10-cylinder powerplant. G-Power used the precisely balanced and lightweight MAHLE forged pistons to give them lower compression while improving strength. The result is 800 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque after a final ECU remap to the BMW M5 Hurricane RR.

Lamborghini Gallardo on ISS Forged Rims

Here we have a Lamborghini Gallardo riding on lightweight ISS Forged Complex 5 rims. The ISS Forged wheel company uses high-strength 6061-T6 Aluminum with the Complex 5 wheels to create a durable rim for any high-end or high-powered sports car. This wheel package seen here adds a touch of styling to the otherwise stock Lambo Gallardo. Measuring 20×8.5 in the front, and 20×11.5 at the rear, this light 5-spoke design features hand-brushed aluminum centers to contrast the blingin’ chrome lips. But what’s a set of rims without a good pair of tires? High performance Falken 452’s were wrapped around all four. At the front, 245/30/20 were used, and the rear received 305/25/20. These tires are said to have good wet and dry traction.
