It’s been a while since we’ve seen a G-Power tuning project, however new records have been set with the release of the four door BMW M5 Hurricane RR. At the track the car was able to reach an amazing 372 km/h, with a 0 to 100 k/h time of just 4.35 seconds. Contributing to the world’s fastest sedan title is a redesigned twin supercharger system consisting of ASAT1-316 units, and new internals for the 10-cylinder powerplant. G-Power used the precisely balanced and lightweight MAHLE forged pistons to give them lower compression while improving strength. The result is 800 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque after a final ECU remap to the BMW M5 Hurricane RR.
The exterior styling of the BMW was also improved with G-Power’s HIGHLINE body kit. Included in the package are new front and rear skirts with spoilers, and a rear spoiler to provide the necessary down force and keep the car stable at its world record top speed. Other notable mentions are the 200 k/h time of just 9.5 seconds, and the BMW M5 can reach 300 km/h in 25.8 seconds. G-Power offers the M5 Hurricane RR at a starting price of 251,100 Euros.
