Japanese tuners Abflug have released the initial details about their Toyota 86 project they’re calling the Spiral 86. This comes in perfect timing for the Tokyo Auto Salon next month, and features a wide variety of styling and performance modifications to fit tuning enthusiasts needs. At the exterior of the Toyota 86 it starts off with a new aggressive body kit featuring custom bumpers, side skirts and a trunk mounted spoiler.
A few additional customization’s include the 19-inch alloy rims wrapped in Yokohama ADVAN Sport high performance tires, along with the HiperMAX IV GT suspension kit and Dixcel brake kit. The new shocks and springs as well as the larger brake calipers and rotors give the sports car better handling for the extra power.
Speaking of the power, the performance mods for the 2.0-liter boxer engine are made up of a HKS GT supercharger and new sport exhaust system. With the final tuning under the hood, the Toyota 86 “Spiral 86” now puts down 258 horsepower and 296 Nm of torque.
This is a beautiful machine. I actually know a friend with an FRS and I am really impressed.
