If you own a Fiat 500 Abarth and are not satisfied with its performance, then bring your Fiat 500 to Karl Schnorr Kraftfahrzeuge’s car tuning company for upgrades. They started off by installing aluminum wheels from OZ in a red or Seria Rossa color measuring 17×7 and are priced at 1,090 euro. To make the wheels fit flush, a special coilover kit was hooked up that lowers the Fiat 500 Abarth a few millimeters and is priced at 1,275 euro. For the axis measurement when lowering the car, Karl Schnorr charges 85 euros, and for the adaption of the body it is 285 euros. Performance increases were accomplished by the installation of two different power kits. The level I power kit increases horsepower from 135 to 163 hp for only 950 euro, while the level II kit increases the power over 200 hp, but it much more expensive at 5,050 euro.

Swiss car tuner Rinspeed has modified a Fiat 500 Abarth to get more power and better gas mileage but it won’t do this at the same time. They started from a Fiat 500 that has a standard 135 HP and they developed a new engine management system that has one mode for the city and one for the highway. The “E2″ system will reduce the engine’s output from 160 HP to 60 HP with one touch of a button. The 60 HP mode is suitable for city traffic and will help the tiny Fiat achieve a 4.0L/100 km fuel usage while the 160 HP highway mode will use 7L/100 km. Rinspeed is one of the first tuners that makes something to reduce the car’s fuel consumption and in the Highway mode their car will get the same HP number as the Fiat 500 Abarth SS.
