ABT Sportsline Volkswagen Golf VI GTI Mk6

German tuning company ABT Sportsline has released the “Last Edition” version of the Volkswagen Golf VI GTI Mk6 at the 2012 Essen Motor Show. They have two performance stages for this sporty hatchback, starting off with ECU tuning to increase the 2.0-liter turbo engine output from the factory 208 HP to 256 horsepower. Stage 2 for the VW Golf GTI offers a new turbocharger to the boost the figures to 306 horses.

ABT, MTM and Oettinger Take on the 2014 Volkswagen Golf

Several popular tuners have released their concept images of packages for the all new 2014 Volkswagen Golf. These include ABT Sportsline, MTM and Oettinger offering unique styling and performance upgrades. Starting off with ABT, they have put together a complete kit featuring a front apron, grille, light accents, mirror covers, side skirts, rear apron and integrated diffuser. Tuning under the hood came next, but don’t forget that these new Golf engines are severely underpowered from the factory.

CFC Volkswagen Golf VI GTI

The German car wrap specialists at Car Film Components aka CFC, have taken this Volkswagen Golf VI GTI to whole new level with some interesting car tuning. First off, the small sport hatch was wrapped with a matte grey vinyl car wrap, while the roof and mirrors received new carbon fiber pieces. A unique comic-like strip was placed on the front fenders, GTI logos, fuel cap, and inner part of the front grille for an extra customized appearance. Rounding out the body modifications are a new carbon fiber kit consisting of a front spoiler, side skirts, and rear diffuser.

MR Car Design Volkswagen Golf V R32

A new package for the Volkswagen Golf V R32 has been released by tuners at MR Car Design. This was a joint operation with BTS-Racing and the final product is quite impressive. Under the hood, the engine received a R32 HPG turbo kit along with a reinforced DSG transmission to handle all the extra power. After the performance tuning was completed, the car now produces a stunning 465 PS and 550 Nm of torque. However, this wasn’t all for the highly modified VW Golf R32.
