Superior Auto Design Dodge Viper

South Florida based tuners Superior Auto Design have given the works to their latest Dodge Viper customization. They started off by wrapping the classic sports car in a satin black 3M car film and then added carbon fiber and gloss accents to the door jams. A new ACR hood gives the Viper a more aggressive appearance, while the factory stripes were removed and body work smoothed out the lines from front to back. The new Dodge Viper logo on the trunk came next and the exterior was completed with powder coated brake calipers hiding under the 20-inch forged rims wrapped in high performance tires.

This is 1 of 909 built in 1990, and there were only around 3,000 ever manufactured between 89-90. Yes, the top is completely factory, and this truck is reasonably priced for how rare it is. Many of these convertible trucks were destroyed in the Cash for Clunkers, a program that lets owners trade in their old cars and trucks for a discount when buying a new car or truck from a dealership. Looks like the owner put a little work into tuning the Dakota convertible as well. The modifications are all cosmetic, so there are no performance gains for the stock 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine producing 140 horsepower. Included in the styling kit is a new front apron, roof spoiler, chrome tail pipes, and tinted rear windows.
