German car tuning company Edo Competition is well known for exotic car projects, however this time they stuck with a more practical budget customizing the BMW M5 Touring model. Calling it the BMW M5 Dark Edition, performance tuning for the 5.0-liter V10 engine consists of a reprogrammed ECU, new air filters, catalytic converters, and a high performance sport exhaust system. This results in a power increase from the factory 500 HP and 521 Nm of torque to 555 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque. On the race track it is capable of a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 4.2 seconds while reaching a top speed of 305 km/h.

G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane GS LPG Powered

Here is the latest car tuning project from G-Power, the new BMW M5 Hurricane GS. All of the G-Power Hurricane cars have been impressive, but this M5 holds the title for the world’s fasts LPG (liquid petroleum gas) powered car. The amazing performance numbers allow the BMW M5 Hurricane to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, hit 200 km/h in 11.4 seconds, and accomplish an overall top speed of 333 km/h to set a world record.

G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RR

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a G-Power tuning project, however new records have been set with the release of the four door BMW M5 Hurricane RR. At the track the car was able to reach an amazing 372 km/h, with a 0 to 100 k/h time of just 4.35 seconds. Contributing to the world’s fastest sedan title is a redesigned twin supercharger system consisting of ASAT1-316 units, and new internals for the 10-cylinder powerplant. G-Power used the precisely balanced and lightweight MAHLE forged pistons to give them lower compression while improving strength. The result is 800 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque after a final ECU remap to the BMW M5 Hurricane RR.
