Occasionally, less is more from judging these pictures of the Akrym BMW M3 hooked up with a few carbon fiber parts. This is the case with the new AeroRace body kit custom made for the latest generation of the BMW M3 Coupe. Akrym, the California based tuning company has manufactured a carbon fiber boot with an integrated CLS-style spoiler, and new hood with functional air vents for the BMW. Both of these aftermarket parts are available from Pyspeed with pricing set at $1,249 for the single-side carbon fiber boot, and $1,999 for the single-side vented carbon fiber hood. If you’d like to double up on the carbon fiber for the both the top and bottom of the BMW M3 parts, if will run you an extra $500 for the hood, and $450 for the boot.

Here we have the world debut of the stunning Vorsteiner GTRS3 package for the BMW M3 E92 model. This new styling kit transforms the popular BMW M3 from ordinary to extraordinary with several pleasing aero parts. Featuring many carbon fiber pieces, the Vorsteiner tuning firm hooked up the M3 with a new carbon fiber front bumper that comes with a replacement splitter. Wider wheel arches for the front fenders and rear quarter panels are also made of light weight carbon fiber, along with the extended side skirts. The US-based tuning firm Active Autowerke released this modified BMW M3 recently, which was mistaken to be a project from the famous tuners AVUS Performance. Supposedly AVUS used Active Autowerkes pictures from their site to help sell the new ADV.1 rims, which they are a dealer of. Transforming the stylish BMW M3 E92 series are several exterior and interior customizations. Sporting a new aerodynamic body kit made of carbon fiber, the ultimate driving machine rides on the never before seen ADV.1 wheel designs. The car also received an aftermarket suspension kit, high performance exhaust system, and a few interior accents.

A tuning company from California, called Royal Muffler have released this modified BMW M3 with a sharp look. A new aerodynamic body kit consisting of a redesigned front bumper, side skirts, and an aggressive bonnet were installed. Their tuning firm has over 30 years of experience customizing sports cars, and this BMW M3 is the latest work. With a unique white and black paint scheme, the cars roof was painted black, and the carbon fiber hood with several air vents adds extra style.

The guys from ATT Autotechnik have taken the BMW M3 which is one of their favorite sports cars, and released a new tuning kit to increase the performance. For years the BMW M3 has been a track icon, without a doubt being the most powerful model of the BMW 3-series. ATT Autotechnik decided that it could use an extra boost under the hood, so they aimed to reach a pleasing 500 horsepower. With the addition of a built turbo compressor and ECU tuning, the BMW M3 convertible was able to reach 345 hp on the dyno. ATT dubbed it the “Thunderstorm” while improving the cars exterior styling as well.

Kneibler Autotechnik BMW E46 M3 Coupe

Recently released by Kneibler Autotechnik is their version of the BMW E46 M3 Coupe with some increased performance and an interesting wheel package. Under the hood the car tuning company offers a supercharger using a compressor kit, and a charge air cooler with adequate software to optimize the setup. The supercharger performance upgrade for the BMW M3 E46 Coupe was installed by the famous tuning firm G-POWER, and the supercharger is from ASA TurboMex. These performance improvements are priced at 13,000 euro, and for an additional 1,350 euro, Kneibler Autotechnik will mount a sport exhaust made from high quality steel. After the complete tuning kit is installed, the BMW E46 M3 has final output figures of 459 hp and 498 Nm of torque.

California-based tuner Vorsteiner has released a dry carbon aerodynamics package for the 2008 BMW M3 E90. The powerful sedan released in 2008 by BMW is a pretty limited edition because it was replaced by the Bavarian automaker after few months with its newer version, the facelifted 2009MY M3 sedan. Vorsteiner wanted to add their stylish touch to the car and installed a new body kit which consists of a front add-on spoiler that was also used for the BMW M3 E92 coupe and a rear diffuser with 3 integrated fins. They also installed a replacement carbon boot lid with a lip spoiler which improves the car’s dynamics. The new trunk lid is 35% lighter than the standard one and thanks to these new lightweight components the car’s performances and handling were also improved by Vorsteiner.

Careful, Miranda Series released the Red Devil out! It won’t harm anyone but their impressive BMW M3 will attract a lot of people. The new project is called BMW M3 E92 Red Devil and it comes with a striking red and black color combination and features a new body kit made from front and rear spoilers by AC Schnitzer and a carbon fiber rear apron. This M3 received a Bilstein coilover suspension which lowers the car with a couple of millimeters, a carbon fiber strut brace and a new stainless steel sport exhaust system which makes this red devil roar. The M3 Red Devil sits on 19″ wheels with 235/35 tires on the front axle and 305/25 wide tires on the rear axle.

BMW brought to Chicago the race version of their famous M3. With an engine that develops 485 HP and 500 Nm, this M3 will race in the American Le Mans seris that will start in 2009. The car has a lot of elements made from CRP (carbon-reinforced plastic), a new carbon fiber clutch, quick-shift gearbox and limited slip differential. They also modified the car’s suspension system and brakes to make it handle better in tight corners.
