Check out these new pictures of the Mugen tuned Honda CR-Z RR that debuted with the CR-Z Concept at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This highly modified RR model is the work of the Japanese tuning division of Mugen, while the original Honda CR-Z was put together by Mugen Euro in the UK. The RR tuning kit features several bespoke parts with many made from carbon fiber. Some of the carbon pieces include the new bonnet, passenger doors, and rear tailgate, while underneath is a full length carbon fiber underbody holding a central exit exhaust system. Everyone seems to love a Mugen tuned Honda, that’s for sure.
More exterior styling mods to the Honda CR-Z RR include vented front bumpers to go along with the new 18-inch alloy rims and Valencia Orange Pearl paint job. Next, a suspension kit was hooked by Mugen to lower the sports car and give it racing potential. Inside the Mugen Honda is a combination of Alcantara and leather upholstery work, as well as carbon fiber trim for the dash, door panels, and center console. A new feature found in this Honda CR-Z RR model is a multimedia screen capable of providing engine data, chassis data, Satellite navigation, and a full audio system.
