Kicherer Mercedes Benz SL 63 RS

Updated on

Black on black is the look that car tuning company Kicherer aimed for in their newest release, the Mercedes Benz SL 63 RS, however they didn’t stop there. Not only did they modify the exterior, but under the hood Kicherer tuned this Mercedes for extra horsepower. The stock 6.2-liter V8 engine produces 525 hp and 630 Nm of torque from the factory, and with some tuning they were able to increase its numbers to 560 hp and 670 Nm of torque. The exterior received a new aerodynamic kit made of carbon fiber. In the front a new spoiler was added, LED daytime running lights, and a new front grille.

Carbon fiber mirror covers were installed, along with a new carbon fiber rear diffuser that supports the performance exhaust system. Kicherer’s ‘Downforce system’ consists of a rear wing or boot lid that rises out of the trunk and provides extra down force for the rear axle. It is made of laminated carbon fiber and several interior pieces received the carbon look as well. Topping off the Mercedes Benz SL 63 RS, on all fours are black and chrome 20 inch light weight metal wheels wrapped in 255/30/20 tires in the front, and 305/25/20 tires in the rear.
