Volvo tuning professionals at Heico Sportiv have announced a new program for the 2013 Volvo V40. They have prepared a wide variety of styling and performance modifications for the Swedish hatchback sports car. Even though Heico Sportiv is a German based firm, they are the official tuning partner of Volvo. This package is only going to be available for the D2, D3 and D4 diesel powerplants, so future customers interested will need to stick to those engine variants.
Further variants including the T3, T4 and T5 gas engines will have tuning kits available shortly as they are still under development. Now the styling improvements for the all new Volvo V40 include a front apron, rear skirt with integrated diffuser and new alloy wheels. These come in three different colors, Bright Silver, Graphite Matte and Black. Measuring 18 and 19-inches in diameter, these rims give the car a much more aggressive look while the suspension has also been improved with sport springs to lower the ride height by 30 mm.
Inside the latest Heico Sportiv project are some new interior accessories to go along with the sport steering wheel. A final customization to the Volvo V40 consists of the sport exhaust system featuring four chrome tipped tailpipes.
