It’s Hamann time! The German tuning company announced that they will release a new tuning package for the 2009 BMW 7 Series. The previous tuning kit for the 7 Series developed by Hamann was unveiled in 2005 and it was based on the BMW 760i/L. Engineers from Hamann managed to increase the stock V12 engine capacity from 6.0L to 7.1L and made it deliver 510 HP and a maximum torque of 728 Nm. The 2005 Hamann 7 managed to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds and it had an incredible top speed of 312 km/h. The tuning company also modified other 7 Series models like the 745i and 745 iL and they improved the 5.2L V8 engine to get 412 HP. The new modified 7 Series is still a mystery for us because the guys from Hamann haven’t released any details about the car’s performances but we can see a lot of visual improvements.

The 2009 Hamann BMW 7 Series has a new rear spoiler, rear roof spoiler, new exhaust system with four tailpipes and new side skirts. The car sits on 22″ wheels and in the interior it received sporty pedals, black leather seats and carpets which have the Hamann logo. The car is probably going to be powered by the stock 4.4L turbo V8 engine from the 750i/Li model and we’re waiting to get official details.
