John Hennessey recently met with Texas Lt. Governor David Dewhurst to test out the new cameras on the 85 mph section of Texas State Highway 130. Hennessey Performance brought out their Cadillac CTS-V with their very own VR1200 twin turbo kit producing 1,226 horsepower and 1,10 lb-ft of torque. SpeedART Porsche Boxster Tuning Package
SpeedART is now ready to launch their Porsche Boxster tuning package after releasing some teaser images earlier this year. They have created kits for both the S and standard model with a couple different stages of tuning. Starting off with the Stage 1, the sports car receives a custom exhaust with sport catalysts and new headers to increase the output by 20 Hp and 20 Nm of torque. The results are 261 horsepower for the 2.7-liter flat-six Boxster and 311 HP for the 3.4-liter flat-six engine.
Bisimoto Hyundai Elantra GT With 600+ HP
California-based tuning company Bisimoto Engineering has prepared quite a package for the 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT that will be on display at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. They have hooked it up with forged Arias pistons, Turbonetics turbocharger, AEM water-methanol injection and Bisimoto injectors and Bisimoto connecting rods to boost the tiny 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. It is said to increase the output from the factory 148 HP to over 600 horsepower with these aftermarket parts.
Wimmer RS Porsche 997 GT2 RS
Wimmer RS has released this new Porsche 997 GT2 RS package for the 500 owners who are looking to reach the next level of performance. They have taken the 3.6-liter six cylinder engine and hooked it up with optimized turbochargers, ECU reprogramming, new camshafts, crankshaft, timing chains, pistons, connecting rods, a new fuel pump and 200-cell sport catalysts. With these extensive upgrades, the flat-six now develops around 1,006 horsepower and 1,108 Nm of torque.
Subaru BRZ STI Kit at Sydney Motor Show
Check out this all new Subaru BRZ that has received a concept sport kit from STI at the 2012 Australian International Motor Show in Sydney. This sporty rear-wheel drive coupe has received several Subaru Tecnica International (STI) aftermarket parts. A few new spoilers, performance parts and suspension upgrades make up the kit that gives the new BRZ racing capabilities.
ABT, MTM and Oettinger Take on the 2014 Volkswagen Golf
Several popular tuners have released their concept images of packages for the all new 2014 Volkswagen Golf. These include ABT Sportsline, MTM and Oettinger offering unique styling and performance upgrades. Starting off with ABT, they have put together a complete kit featuring a front apron, grille, light accents, mirror covers, side skirts, rear apron and integrated diffuser. Tuning under the hood came next, but don’t forget that these new Golf engines are severely underpowered from the factory.
BBM Gives Andrea Friedrich a Race-Ready Volkswagen Golf GTI V
Typically when cars and girls come together for a photo shoot, the ladies are just trying to get their name on the map and don’t really have a connection with the car. There is one exception to this theory, which brings us 23-year-old Miss Yamaha 2012 and Monster Energy Girl Andrea Friedrich. She has received her “A” racing license and will participate in upcoming events such as the GLP series and Nürburgring VLN in this BBM Motorsport tuned Volkswagen Golf GTI V.
Kicherer Mercedes SLS AMG Supercharged GT
The tuners at Kicherer have announced a Supercharged GT package for the Mercedes SLS AMG. With the performance modifications to the 6.3-liter V8 engine, a new power output of about 700 BHP to go along with 840 Nm of torque was achieved. This comes from the new supercharger and allows the sports car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds while reaching a top speed of 300 km/h or 186 mph.
DMC Lamborghini Aventador L900 Molto Veloce
German tuning company DMC has prepared a stunning package for the all new Lamborghini Aventador. This one is for customers looking to stand out from crowd, featuring a super aggressive body kit they are calling the “Molto Veloce“. The style parts consist of a new carbon fiber lip spoiler, bumper trim, side skirts, huge rear wing, rear apron with diffuser and new exhaust tips. A new set of rim finished in matte black and wrapped in high performance tires complete the unique exterior.
Wheelsandmore Bentley Continental GT, GTC and GT Speed
The tuners at Wheelsandmore have released some new accessories for the Bentley Continental GT, GTC and GT Speed models. An electronic lowering module is available for the front end to go along with the 21 and 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 5P tires. Performance modifications consist of several ECU options for each model to boost the power.
Modellista Gundam Style 2013 Toyota Auris
You didn’t read it wrong, this is the new ‘Gundam Style‘ kit for the upcoming 2013 Toyota Auris by Modellista. While it may be easily confused with the hit viral song ‘Gangnam Style’ by South Korean rapper PSY, this title actually relates to the Japanese animated television series with giant robots. Although this car is not a giant in itself, the large Japanese in-house tuning company Modellista has taken this car under their wing for some tasty modifications.
DMC Maserati GranCabrio Supercharger Tuning
It’s been a while since we’ve seen a Maserati GranTurismo tuning package hit the market, this time DMC has a new kit for the convertible GranCabrio series. They have hooked it up with several styling parts consisting of a new front bumper with lip spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser all made from carbon fiber. Additional exterior modifications include the new 20-inch rims to go along with a suspension upgrade that gives the car a more aggressive stance.
