After the translation incident with ‘White Power’, AVUS Performance has returned again, this time modifying a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. The German car tuning company did everything to this Mercedes, from suspension, to looks, and also performance options to give it the complete package. The springs were replaced with aftermarket parts, and coilovers are an option for the customer. Complementing the new height are 19 inch AMG multi-spoke rims, with large 8-piston brake calipers and 380 mm rotors to bring it to a stop. Ventross Nissan GT-R R35 Skyline
Car tuning specialists Ventross, have released their Nissan GT-R R35 Skyline package using ideas from their parent company Vorsteiner. The tuners developed a new body kit, and in the front, large carbon fiber air intakes were added throughout to increase airflow to the radiators and brakes. A solid front lip was installed that gives the appearance of a lower than normal Nissan GT-R, and all parts included in the front fascia are made using Vorsteiner’s dry carbon fiber vacuum technology. This new technology allows their company to maximize the overall strength of the carbon fiber, while at the same time reducing the weight more than the average carbon fiber piece.
Wimmer RS Porsche 997 GT2 Bi-Turbo
The car tuners from Germany, Wimmer RS (Wimmer Rennsporttechnik Soligen) chose the Porsche 997 GT2 Bi-Turbo this time to modify and the results were amazing. The Porsche 997 GT2 was able to sprint from 0-100 km/h in only 3.4 seconds! Wimmer increased the power to 680 hp, from the stock 530 hp, and torque was also boosted to 870 Nm. This was achieved by tuning the twin-turbos, adding a custom Wimmer sport exhaust system, sport catalysts, redesigned cylinder head, aftermarket camshafts, and finally a performance clutch. AVUS Performance Audi RS6 Avant
The all new Audi RS6 Avant by AVUS Performance may not have the most aggressive look, however for a station wagon, its power numbers speak for them self. Naming it ‘White Power‘ might not have been the best title for the white RS6 because the German tuners are now receiving some racial controversy over the name. They recently released an apology statement saying it was a translation mix up by their editors and no racial harm was intended. Anyway, for a wagon the Audi RS6 Avant already has some decent characteristics coming from the factory with 580 hp and 650 Nm of torque. AVUS Performance still felt there was room for improvement so they installed a Sportec 2.7″ in diameter high performance exhaust system, racing catalysts, and re-programmed the ECU. Which increased the horsepower to 700, and torque to 800Nm, with an astonishing 3.9 second 0-100 km/h.
G-Power BMW M6 Hurricane CS
German car tuning company G-Power delivered the power with this BMW M6, breaking the world record for fastest sedan at a top speed of 370 km/h or 231 mph. Naming it the Hurricane CS, this is the fastest BMW coupe in the world with a powerful twin supercharged V10 engine delivering 750 hp and 590 ft-lbs of torque. To get these astounding numbers out of a BMW, the engineers at G-Power had to install belt driven ASA T1-316 superchargers, and forged pistons from Mahle were used to reduce compression. The pistons from Mahle are exactly the same weight as the stock pistons, however significantly stronger to handle the extra boost from the superchargers. To optimize the V10 engine, a remapping of the ECU was needed for the superchargers.
