Audi R8 Convertible

The fiery red Audi R8 is a stunning car, but having it in a convertible model is even better, and it features many improvements. For more than 50,000 Euros, this conversion improves the weight of the car, boosts output, optimizes the handling and safety systems, while giving it a look to die for. On the exterior level, the tuners installed a new front bumper and grill, front spoiler, carbon made ribs, cooling ducts, rear spoiler, apron, and rear diffuser with grille option on the Audi R8. Performance upgrades and numbers come next.

Roush Ford Mustang Stage 3 Kit

The Ford tuning specialists at Roush have released a new Stage 3 kit also called the RS3 package for the 2012 Ford Mustang sports car. Final numbers after the performance tuning, new induction system, and custom exhaust show figures of 540 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The tuners didn’t stop there however, they also customized the exterior to make it more unique.

New Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Sold Out

News has it that the first year production run of the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 has been completely sold out. It has been confirmed that the waiting list for the new Aventador has increased to 18 months, and the sell out occurred immediately after the official debut at the Geneva Motor Show. This was also before the cars had even been displayed at dealerships around the world, so it goes to show you that you can’t afford to wait an extra day to reserve a supercar of this caliber. The Italian car makers expect to manufacture around 600-700 Aventadors in 2011, so this probably means that over 1,000 have already been reserved and sold. At a price of €312.970 in Germany, it proves that popularity can outweigh the price, and it was also announced that the Aventador Roadster should be ready for launch next year. Check out the video of one of the first Lamborghini Aventador at the track.

Fox Marketing Lexus CT200h

With the New York Auto Show coming to an end, Lexus decided to reveal their latest Fox Marketing CT200h hybrid project in the Big Apple for all Americans to see. It features a bespoke wide body kit with custom fascias, new side skirts, and a stunning rear diffuser to distribute the air. What really caught the car tuning enthusiasts attention is the Carizzma Cinnamon paint job, tinted headlights, and 20-inch alloy rims. Under the hood, Fox Marketing hooked it up with an Eaton supercharger to boost the 1.8-liter engine, a Climax Racing intake manifold allows more air to enter, and a larger intercooler keeps the temperature in check.

Kicherer Mercedes SLS AMG Supersport GT

Kicherer has already unveiled a couple projects with the Mercedes SLS AMG supercar, but have now released their SLS 63 Supersport GT with some exceptional styling. This one looks to top all the previous jobs, and the tuning company called this take the “angry and aggressive” car. However, the car girl in the pictures seems to enjoy the Mercedes without hesitation. Becoming more popular these days are the matte black car wraps, seen here on the SLS 63 Supersport GT. A hand-made shark mouth style grill was installed, which actually looks like a common iron fence to surround your house for privacy. Completing the exterior styling is the aero kit consisting of a carbon fiber spoiler lip and carbon fin set.

Project Kahn Maybach 57

The tuners at Project Kahn have put this Maybach 57 together for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29th. Typically, royal weddings are celebrated with commemorative stamps, coins and other expensive memorablilia, but this one will be unique with a custom Maybach 57 limousine for the newlyweds. The high-end luxury car has been fitted with a 4HRH license plate to stand for “For His Royal Highness”, and features a pearl white paint job with 22-inch Kahn RS rims. The tuning firm smoked out the taillights and added some unique touches to the interior which is hidden by Pentagon privacy glass.

Anderson Germany Aston Martin DBS

Here is the latest car tuning project brought to us by Anderson Germany, based on the stunning Aston Martin DBS. Called the Superior Black Edition, it looks like the tuners did a great job all around, starting with the carbon mirrors, dark tinted windows, and matte black frames making it unique. The wheels you see here are 21-inch gloss black rims wrapped in 255 width tires at the front, and 295 width at the rear. Bright red brake calipers go well with the sinister looks of this Aston Martin DBS. Performance tuning came next.

SpeedART Porsche Cayenne EVO XL 600

The second generation of the Porsche Cayenne has been impressive, however the tuners from SpeedART have made it even more appealing. It was announced earlier this year, and now the Porsche Cayenne Titan EVO-XL 600 package is on sale. The longtime Porsche tuning firm started off with a wide body kit consisting of a new front apron, fender flares, rear apron, diffuser, side skirts, and a roof spoiler. A two-tone paint scheme along with 22 or 23-inch lightweight alloy rims complete the exterior styling.

Mopar Jeep Wrangler JK-8 Independence Kit

Check out this new Jeep kit from Mopar that can turn any Wrangler into a pickup truck, and making it similar to the old CJ-8 Scrambler. They are calling this the JK-8 Independence kit, however we have to question Jeep as to why they are not offering something similar from the factory. Die-hard jeep owners will have to convert their original Wrangler’s by throwing away all the original body parts found on the rear end of the SUV. Then they can take this JK-8 kit and install it to make a truck. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense because it will be a damn expensive tuning project, yet the results look good.

MOTION Chevy Camaro Phase III Packs a Punch

Here is the 2011 MOTION Chevy Camaro Phase III that was on display at the Super Chevy Show in Palm Beach, Florida. It was held at the Florida International Raceway last weekend, and this car packs a real punch with a GM LS7 427 aluminum block engine holding a 2.8-liter Twin-Screw Supercharger producing 800 horsepower. The Camaro creation comes from the partnership of tuners Joel Rosen and Howard Tanner of Redline Motorsports. Rosen created the Baldwin-Motion 427 and 454 Camaros, while saying, “Back in the day we built record-setting 500-horsepower big-block Camaros and backed them up with warranties. My new 427-SC delivers 300 more horsepower…And, it has a one-year, 12,000-mile warranty.”

Edo Competition Koenigsegg CCR

Check out this Koenigsegg CCR, a supercar that already has a ridiculous amount of power from the factory, just received some more. The owner of this high performance car felt the power could be increased further, so he hired Edo Competition to boost the figures. At the tuning shop, the guys from Edo modified the drive ratio and installed a reprogrammed ECU. This allows the 4.7-liter supercharged V8 engine to produce 891 PS or 879 horsepower. What’s odd is the fact that the extra power reduced the top speed to 390 km/h or 242 mph. It most likely came from the Edo tuners replacing the plastic bushings in the transmission with Uniball parts to improve the acceleration. Final customizations include Alcantara upholstery inside the sports car, a modified center console, new entertainment system, and a tire pressure monitoring system with the display on the dashboard. If only all of us could afford a CCR by the Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg, the world would be a happy place.
