B&B Audi TT-RS
An all new performance tuning package has been released for the Audi TT-RS by the company B&B. There are four different tuning stages available for the new Audi, all resulting with impressive power numbers. The Stage 1 kit consists of a simple ECU tuning to take the boost level up an extra 0.2 bar, giving the engine 410 hp and priced at 1,950 euro. In the Stage 2 package, customers receive an extra 0.25 bar of boost along with an upgraded cooling system, resulting in 425 hp for 2,950 euro. The third stage is a bit more expensive than the first two, but the performance increases are well worth it.
Cargraphic Audi R8
A new tuning kit from Cargraphic has been released for the Audi R8 that enhanced the exterior appearance significantly. The package consists of a new airlift suspension system and carbon fiber aerodynamic body parts. Lowering the front of the Audi R8 up to 72 mm in 15 seconds, the aftermarket airlift system doesn’t alter the performance of the stock pieces. Featuring air bellows and a separate compressor, the airlift suspension system isn’t considered the same as the typical air suspension. If traveling at speeds above 50 km/h, the new airlift system will automatically lower the vehicle.
Senner Audi R8
Senner Tuning has released the latest performance and styling package for the Audi R8 4.2-liter V8 FSI called the Super Sport Concept. Contributing to the horsepower increases are new sport air filters, aftermarket exhaust system, and ECU tuning by Senner that bring its figures to 458 hp and 470 Nm of torque. The concept from Senner Tuning, which is located by Mainz, Germany was driven on a mile long strip to test the performance and reliability. Styling the exterior of Audi R8 was also of importance, so the car received several aesthetic parts along with a suspension kit.
MTM Audi S5 Cabrio Supercharged
The tuning specialists at MTM have released a custom program for the Audi S5 Cabrio to increase performance by adding a supercharger. This is said to give the Audi S5 “maximized pleasure and comfort to the open air driving fans,” while tuners say it is the “most beautiful car” that was designed by Walter de Silva. Transforming the car is the supercharged engine, a wheel package, lowering kit, and sporty seats. MTM kept the stock Audi S5 Cabrio 3.0-liter TFSI V6 quattro engine in place, but hooked it up with their special M-Cantronic, and V-Cantronic modules. The results are amazing with a 100 horsepower increase over the stock numbers, to reach a total output of 430 hp and 515 Nm of torque.
MTM Audi TT RS
German tuning firm MTM has a long history of tuning Audi cars, and their latest project shows a powerful Audi TT RS. The company founder, Roland Mayer helped customize the Sport Quattro back in the 80’s with the turbo five-banger, and now almost 20 years later they are still consistent as ever. MTM is now able to offer three stages to boost performance numbers ranging from 340 hp to 404, to 424 horsepower. This is obtained by ECU tuning and an aftermarket exhaust system on the Audi TT RS. Torque numbers show 332 lb-ft to match the 340 hp and continue to rise along with a top speed of 185 mph.
AVUS Audi A4 Avant Black Arrow
AVUS Performance has released a customized version of the Audi A4 Avant and renamed it the A4 Avant Black Arrow. The German tuning firm kept the stock motor set which is a 2.7-liter turbo diesel engine. Tweaking the engine with their Stage 1 ECU tuning upgrade they were able to obtain 230 hp and 358 ft lbs of torque. Factory numbers from Audi show 190 hp with 295 ft lbs of torque. AVUS also offers performance kits for the 2.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI diesel versions. The exterior of the car was painted all black, hence the name Black Arrow, and several other modifications were included.
MFK Audi RS6
MFK has tuned the Audi RS6 to give the station wagon a more sporty appearance and larger power band. They were able to boost the 4.2-liter V8 engine that originally produces 450 hp. After the engine tuning, the Audi RS6 now boasts 520 hp which is quite impressive for the station wagon. For the exterior they installed a new front spoiler with larger air vents to bring more fresh air to the V8 under the hood. In the four corners are CC-Line 3-part wheels painted gloss black measuring 20×10.5 and wrapped with Dunlop high performance tires measuring 285/25/20. The huge wheel set definitely improves the handling on the MFK Audi RS6.
AVUS Audi TT-RS
With it’s five cylinders and four wheel drive, the Audi TT-RS is a unique car, and the tuning firm at AVUS Performance has taken it to the next level. Delivering plenty of horsepower, the stock Audi TT-RS produces 340 hp and 332 ft lbs of torque. This allows for a 0-60 mph time of 4.6 seconds, which in AVUS Performance’s eyes, is not nearly enough. They were able to bring the Audi beyond expectations by boosting the engine to a stunning 460 bhp with more than 472 ft lbs of torque. That improved the 0-60 time to a mere 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 194 mph. Along with the power upgrades, AVUS also improved the looks and aerodynamics of the Audi TT-RS.
Hofele Audi A3 Cabrio
German car tuning company Hofele has released several aftermarket modifications for the new 2009 Audi A3 Cabrio. The single frame front bumper features larger air intakes in the corners for a GTS look and also includes fog lights which can be purchased separately. Hofele offers their own S3 like front grille available in black or silver for those who want to customize the front end further. In the rear of the Audi A3 Cabrio, a new diffuser can be installed by simply attaching it to the existing rear bumper, and it is made out of PKG material. The rear bumper addition allows for the quad sport exhaust system to be hooked up underneath, or customers can choose to have the factory exhaust installed. Topping it off for the Audi A3 Cabrio are caps for the headlamps, and a Hofele badge on the rear hatch, next to the A3 moniker.
Sportec Audi S4 Avant
Here is the latest work from Sportec, and with all the car tuning modifications performed on the Audi S4 Avant, the results are not very impressive. Sportec was able to increase the horsepower by 92 with final numbers at 425 hp from the stock 333 hp. However, with that much of an increase in horsepower, at the track the Audi S4 Avant was only able to increase its 0-62 mph time by 0.1 second. That is surprisingly less than expected from Sportec after the large power increase, but they also worked on the exterior to give it an aggressive look for a station wagon. They added 19 or 20 inch wheels and lowered the car by 30 mm with stiffer aftermarket springs. An upgraded brake kit was installed and Sportec claims that the extra power improves everyday driving and saves fuel consumption compared to the Audi 4.2 liter V8 available in other models. Similar to other Sportec tuning packages, the parts and modification available for the Audi S4 Avant can be purchased individually and customized for the buyers needs.
ABT Sportsline Audi S4
Here is one of the latest works from the German car tuning firm ABT Sportsline, the Audi S4 that comes from the factory with a 3.0-liter TFSI engine. ABT decided the stock performance numbers weren’t enough, so they tuned the engine to output 435 hp from the factory 333 horsepower. Along with the horsepower upgrades, torque was increased as well, and now has bragging rights of 520 Nm of torque from the stock 440 Nm. The car has new track speeds to go along with the tuning, and can sprint from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds, compared to the 5.1 seconds before any modifications. ABT Sportsline adjusted the electronic limiter on the Audi S4 that allows the car to reach a top speed of 282 km/h or 175 mph. They explained later on that the reason they can increase the electronic limiter is because the engine is not supplied with a V-max limit, or top speed limit. Styling modifications for the Audi S4 include a 4 pipe exhaust system that adds to the sporty look and contributes to the aggressive appearance.
