ABT Audi R8 GTR Set For Geneva Motor Show

The tuners at ABT Sportline will unveil a revised Audi R8 aftermarket kit they are calling the GTR at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Not to be confused with the Nissan GTR supercar, this Audi R8 holds a 5.2-liter V10 FSI engine producing 550 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque. Customers looking for that extra boost can have their car tuned to 620 HP and 550 Nm of torque with just a few modifications.

After the customization’s the Audi R8 can now accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds while reaching a top speed of 202 mph. These figures are up from the factory 3.5 second sprint time and 193 mph top speed.

As for the styling improvements, you will notice a carbon fiber body kit consisting of new front and rear aprons, front splitter, side skirts, hood and rear wing. With these installements, the sports car now weighs 110 kg or 242 lbs lighter than the stock version.

Final mods feature the stainless steel exhaust system to let the car breathe easier, a new set of forged 19-inch alloy rims wrapped in high performance tires, a coilover suspension kit and adjustable dampers.
