A wild car tuning package here from the guys at OK-Chiptuning for the 996 generation Porsche 911 Turbo. This exterior paint scheme was inspired by the 1991 German action comedy Manta, Manta where the protagonist of the movie drove an Opel Manta coupe. The colors you see here were placed over the original paint by using a foil wrap, while the tuners also installed TechArt pink rims with Opel logos. This makes us wonder why even both with the logos when it’s obviously a Porsche 911 Turbo.
With the Porsche 911 history now five decades deep, it’s amazing how the company has kept the styling so similar when comparing a 911 of today. German-based tuner DP Motorsports has celebrated the 40th birthday of the notorious model by transforming a 1990′s Porsche 964 into a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS replica. From new school to old school, both the exterior, interior and engine bay received a wide range of aftermarket parts in the build.
Anibal Automotive Design has released these teaser photos and video for the Porsche 911 seventh generation models also known as the 991. This “Attack” package is said to be in the final development stage and features a very aggressive body kit. It consists of wider front and rear fenders, side skirts, bumpers, air scoops and multiple vents. A carbon fiber hood, new rear engine lid and large rear wing completely transform the exterior styling and make it look race-worthy. Performance upgrades for the Porsche 911 tuning project were not announced, so this appears to strictly be a styling upgrade.
Wimmer RS has released this new Porsche 997 GT2 RS package for the 500 owners who are looking to reach the next level of performance. They have taken the 3.6-liter six cylinder engine and hooked it up with optimized turbochargers, ECU reprogramming, new camshafts, crankshaft, timing chains, pistons, connecting rods, a new fuel pump and 200-cell sport catalysts. With these extensive upgrades, the flat-six now develops around 1,006 horsepower and 1,108 Nm of torque.
Here is an upcoming Porsche 911 Carrera 4/4S tuning package by TopCar set to debut at the Top Marques Monaco. They have announced that it will feature a carbon and kevlar body kit consisting of new bumpers, re-designed hood and side skirts. Additional styling improvements come from the wider fenders, rear spoiler and lighter ADV.1 rims wrapped in high performance tires. Customers looking for further enhancements will have a variety of 9ff tuning upgrades for their Porsche 911 models.
