A slew of tuning companies showed up to resurrect this Mercedes SLR McLaren and turn it into one of the world’s fastest. The package uses body parts from Mansory, with tuners RENNtech, Exotics Boutique, Platinum Motorsport, and MACarbon bringing it all together. The kit on the exterior of the SLR is called the Renovatio from Mansory, and the supercharger comes courtesy of RENNtech. The transmission was also upgraded by RENNtech to handle all the extra power.

Renntech Mercedes CLK 63 AMG
Even though the C209 Mercedes CLK Coupe may have been replaced by the new C207, tuners haven’t left out the thought of selling aftermarket parts for both models. The Florida based tuning firm Renntech has released this new aero kit for the Mercedes CLK 63 AMG Black Series. It consists of a fully functional carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, front air brake ducts, redesigned carbon air box, and fully adjustable DTM style rear wing to give it a more aggressive look. The firm stated that all components have been tested by the companies in house design and engineering staff “to integrate seamlessly within the original body work”. This offers better performance and handling for the Mercedes CLK owners, however hit the jump for a detailed list and prices.
RENNtech Mercedes C63 AMG Kit
The tuners at RENNtech definitely know how to work on Mercedes, this time releasing a C63 AMG wide body kit with the works. It is said to improve the aerodynamics of the car, however most customers will probably purchase it for the looks alone. Their calling it the C74 kit for the Mercedes, and comes to us right after the RENNtech tuning team launched the world’s fastest Mercedes C63, which accomplished a 11.6 second quarter mile time. Focusing on the exterior styling this time around, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG received looks inspired by Stuttgart’s DTM racing cars.
Renntech world record Mercedes CL65 and CL63 AMG
The south Florida based tuning company Renntech has shown their skills with the latest Mercedes CL65 AMG and CL63 builds which set world record track times. Engineers from Renntech tweaked the performance by upgrading and tuning the ECU, installing a new ram air system, larger intercooler, high flow exhaust system, limited slip differential, and a few extra upgrades. After the modifications, the tuners wanted to see how the new Mercedes CL65 AMG and the Mercedes CL63 AMG would perform at the track. Check out the video after the jump, these tuned cars are fast!
Renntech 777 Mercedes SLR McLaren
Volker Mornhinweg, the AMG boss, declared last week that the horsepower war is over and they won’t try to reach extreme performances with the cars they modify. Hartmut Feyhl, the boss from Renntech, still likes powerful cars which can reach incredible speeds and he announced that his company will reveal Renntech 777 Mercedes SLR McLaren, a car developed to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary, which has 777 HP. The car tuner says this is a completely new street legal track car and it will have a new body kit with improved aerodynamics, a big rear wing, new splitters and new side skirts. The car will be powered with a modified 5.5L supercharged Kompressor V8 engine and it will feature a new suspension, driveline and a special slip differential made by Renntech.
Renntech SLR McLaren 722 PKG2
When Mercedes decided that it’s time to boost the engine power for this lovely SLR supercar they created the limited edition SLR722. A lot of people thought that 722 comes from the power developed by the 5.5L V8 engine of this car while others thought that there will be built only 722 cars like this one. But they were all wrong. In fact the car’s name comes from the Mille Miglia from 1955 where Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson won with a Mercedes-Benz 300SLR in front of race favorties like Ferrari and Porsche. The car had the racing number 722 which was the exact hour of race start 7:22 am.
Last year, the car tuning company Renntech ended this confusion and boosted this car’s power from the initial 650 HP to 722 HP. The PKG1 kit included new intercoolers and modified engine cooling unit that will add this slight boost of power.
Renntech Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series
As a stock car, the Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series is one of the most extreme cars ever built. With a body kit that looks like the one used at DTM cars, an interior with carbon fiber elements and a powerful V8 engine that develops 507 HP and 630 Nm, this car seems perfect and you can’t make it better.
Of course, it seems that nothing is extreme for the guys from Renntech and the car tuning company from Florida has added 43 HP to the car’s V8 engine by modifying it’s engine cooling system and installing a new high performance exhaust system. With this extra power this car will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds and it will reach a top speed of over 300 km/h.
Mercedes S65, SL65, CL65 AMG Tuning
Mercedes S65 and CL65 is definitely a dream car for most of us and we’d be delighted to have one, but… there are some people that don’t believe this car is great enough and they’re trying to improve it, and fine tune it’s performances. The guys from RENNTech thought that 500 HP is not enough for this Mercedes and they wanted to improve the car’s performances. They’ve modified the V12 engine and after a couple of days the engine could develop 695 HP and a maximum torque of 895 Nm. This performance tuning kit is called “stage 3” and uses improved engine cooling unit that would make your car’s engine “chill out” after a short race.
