With the recent success of the Audi Q5 SUV, tuners from around the world including Senner have released new kits for the 2.0-liter TDI turbo diesel powerplant. Senner Tuning started with their ECU upgrade, sport air filters, and custom exhaust system to boost the numbers. The Audi Q5 figures have increased from 170 hp and 350 Nm of torque to 213 horsepower and 445 newton meters of torque with these upgrades.
Recently the tuners from ENCO Exclusive released the modified Audi Q7, and have now turned to the Audi Q5 for upgrades. The new program features several styling improvements with a body kit based off the big brother Q7. This aerodynamic kit consists of a new bumper with large blackened air inlets, new hood, rear skirt, rear spoiler, and LED daytime running lights in the front. Integrated in the new rear bumper are oval exhaust pipes coming from the Audi Q5 V12 TDI engine. A brand new set of silver monoblock wheels from the ENCO “Jura” style were installed, and measure 22×10, which come wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires sized 285/30/22.
The car tuning company Caractere have revealed their latest car styling kit for the Audi Q5, and it is a complete body kit. The new kit strengthens the already strong framework of the Audi Q5, and is made of several pieces. It comes complete with a new front bumper, rear spoiler, roof spoiler, and a rear hatch blend. For the rear spoiler exhaust openings can be integrated for the tips, and for the wheels arch extensions are possible as well. All these parts are made from PURim and improve the performance of the Audi Q5. Caractere designed the body kit not only for looks, but to provide performance enhancements all around and make this a complete vehicle.
ABT Sportsline released a tuning programme for the new Audi Q5 last year at the Essen Motor and during that time they were offering power upgrades only for the 2.0 TFSI and 3.0 TDI models. The car received an entirely new front apron with a large spoiler with integrated fog lamps and a huge front grille that makes this Q5 really aggressive. The body modifications continue with wider fenders, door trims, 22″ alloy wheels, a rear skirt that houses the new exhaust system with four tailpipes and an ABT muffler and a small rear wing. Recently, the company has announced that their Audi Q5 got new engine upgrades and with a so-called ABT Power package they manage to increase HP for every engine. The 2.0 TDI was upgraded from 170 HP to 190 HP and the 3.0L TDI version outputs now 310 HP. The gasoline engines got a more powerful version and the guys from ABT manged to upgrade the engine from 211 HP to 275 HP.
The guys from ABT wanted to modify SUVs for a long time and the results they had with Touareg and Tiguan where incredible. Now, they decided to move to another SUV and they choose to modify the new Audi Q5. The guys from ABT changed the car’s face almost completely by installing new front and rear skirts, a great front grille and a rear wing that make this car look really aggressive. To complete this elegant car they equipped it with 20″ BR rims. ABT also prepared some performance improvements for the Q5. The 2.0 TDI engine has 20 additional HP now and it could develop 190 HP.
