The Canadian car tuning company SR Auto Group, also known as SR Autos have released this upgrade kit for the Audi S5 called the Typhon. Not to be mistaken with the latest G-Power BMW Typhoon project, this Audi received both styling and performance improvements. At the exterior level, the S5 was hooked up with body pieces from Rieger, including a front spoiler lip and rear diffuser both finished in dry carbon fiber. The most dramatic customizations to this Audi S5 include the matte black foil wrap and new set of ADV1 5.1 lightweight alloy rims also finished in matte black. They come wrapped in high performance tires, while the tuners moved on to engine bay aiming to increase horsepower.
SR Auto Group started off with an ECU remapping for the naturally aspired 4.2-liter V8 engine. After the engine tuning, extra performance parts were installed to boost the numbers even more. From the factory the Audi S5 produces 365 hp and 440 Nm of torque, which most car enthusiasts would be more than satisfied with. SR Autos disagrees however, but they have yet to release how much this package really improves the Audi. I’m assuming the upgrades should increase the numbers to around 400 hp and 500 Nm of torque, but we’ll let the official dyno run do the talking when it is available.
