The tuning company Sport Wheels has just released their version of the Audi R8 Spyder. From the factory, the standard Audi R8 is fitted with a 5.2 FSI quattro engine producing 525 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. Most people believe that this amount of power is plenty, and no further tuning should be necessary. However, the tuners at Sport Wheels are not typical like us, and took this Audi R8 to the next level. Apart from the engine tuning, the cars styling wasn’t drastically affected besides a new set of wheels.
Sport Wheels offers two separate tuning levels for increased performance figures. Starting off, the Audi R8 received an engine tuning to raise the numbers to 565 hp instead of the stock 525 horsepower. The second stage includes an ironman exhaust system along with new ECU software to bring the figures to 600 hp and 580 Nm of torque. Finally tuning to the Audi consists of the 20-inch aftermarket rims wrapped in Conti Sport Contact high performance tires measuring 235/30/20.
