9ff Porsche 997 Turbo Speed9
If you’re a tuning addict who loved the cars at the SEMA Show, but prefer more European models, then the 9ff Porsche 997 Turbo Speed9 debuting at the Essen Motor Show is for you. The Essen Show in Germany always has the top of the line European makes and models on display, so don’t miss out if you’re nearby. This Porsche 997 Turbo has been inspired by the legendary 356 (circa 1955) with roots coming from the 997 Turbo cabrio. Featuring the 3.6-liter twin-turbo, 9ff was able to obtain 650 hp from the stock 473 horsepower. The 6-cylinder sports car received an aftermarket exhaust, ECU tuning, and a new catalytic converter. These are impressive numbers for some simple modifications, and the tuners didn’t stop there.
McChip Porsche Panamera Turbo
McChip-DKR has released an upgrade package for the all new Porsche Panamera Turbo that has been highly appraised by car enthusiasts. The tuning firm created a package consisting of a power kit and new wheels. Performance gains for the Porsche Panamera show 550 hp and 775 Nm of torque with some simple ECU tuning and remapping. These numbers are a 50 hp and 75 Nm increase over the factory figures, and the Sportchrono version was able to produce 845 Nm of torque. The Porsche car was able to reach a top speed of 311 km/h after the tuners saw a 8 km/h gain from the stock model.
TopCar Porsche Panamera Stingray
Recent images of the Porsche Panamera Stingray concept by the Russian tuning firm TopCar have been released showing a new body kit that looks impressive. This is just a rendering for now, since it appears these pictures have been photoshopped. The body kit is called the Stingray and we’re wondering if there is any resemblance to the old Chevy Corvette Stingray design. Russian tuning company Cardi helped TopCar in designing the aerodynamic kit which consists of several carbon fiber body parts and panels. New alloy wheels are part of the package for the Porsche Panamera along with new bumpers, air vents in the front bumper, side skirts, and a new rear wing.
ENCO Gladiator 700GT Porsche Cayenne Biturbo
The factory Porsche Cayenne twin turbo V8 produces 500 hp, and that is nothing compared to the ENCO Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo. Featuring a full roll cage inside, carbon fiber racing seats, and so much body work to make Jenna Jameson seem natural, the Porsche Cayenne was also boosted to 690 horsepower. This car is definitely not a sleeper, with its red rims, an additional 190 horses, and revised front end that looks mean as hell. The Gladiator Porsche Cayenne has been lavished with carbon fiber throughout, and the fancy 23″ wheels fit nicely with the large fender flares. Now the need for a full roll cage on a Porsche Cayenne, I think they went a little overboard with this one.
Lumma Design Porsche Panamera CLR 700GT
Here are some images of the Porsche Panamera CLR 700GT concept that have surfaced on the web from the car tuners at Lumma Design. Giving the new Porsche an aggressive appearance, Lumma design hooked it up with an extreme body kit. New body styling includes a front bumper, carbon fiber hood, and aftermarket side skirts. The Porsche Panamera features 22 inch racing edition wheels with a very deep dish, rear fender vents, a carbon fiber spoiler, four pipe exhaust system, and a new rear bumper with integrated diffuser. The new four door Porsche has limited details from Lumma Design, however the power under the hood is not disappointing.
Mansory Chopster Limited Edition at Frankfurt Motor Show
The final generation of the Limited Edition Mansory Chopster is about to be released at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Tuning the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is not an easy task, but the new Chopster by Mansory is even more stunning and full of exclusive customizations. Mastering the body styling, Mansory also adjusted the aerodynamic components to go along with the 710 hp. It is a true state-of-the-art vehicle with carbon fiber pieces throughout to optimize the performance. This lightens the automobile, improves acceleration, handling, fuel consumptions, and reduces the braking distance. Apart from the lightweight body materials, this Porsche Cayenne Turbo S received a complete engine makeover for the already powerful V8.
Vivid Racing 800HP Porsche 997 Twin-Turbo
The guys from Vivid Racing have completed their Porsche 997 Twin-Turbo with outstanding results from the two Garrett GT3076rs turbos. Their goal was to obtain 800 crank horsepower, and after factoring in a 25 percent drivetrain loss on the Mustang Dyno, final numbers show 642 awhp and 616 ft lbs of torque. Using Softronic ECU flash technology they were able to pull everything together, and used VP 109 fuel to get these final performance numbers. On the dyno, the Porsche 997TT was run at 1.4 bar of boost, but if you are running on pump fuel of 91 octane, it is recommended to only run 1.0 bar of boost. With 93 octane you can run 1.2 bar of boost, and this is easily controlled with the Greddy Profec B Boost Controller.
Techart Porsche Boxster and Cayman Kit
Premium car tuning specialists from Techart have created a new tuning kit for the Porsche Boxster and Cayman models that meet all expectations. The new customization package from Techart features two aerodynamic kits, daytime running lights, sport springs, and interior carbon fiber elements. Both of the Techart Aerokits are made from PU RIM and wind tunnel tested to optimize the drag they create. Components of the aero kit are a new front spoiler lip to match the body color, side skirts, and redesigned rear for better aerodynamics. A rear spoiler and diffuser underneath optimize the traction and stability while driving at high speeds in the Porsche Boxster or Porsche Cayman.
Gemballa GT 600 Aero 3 Porsche Cayenne Turbo
The latest addition to the car tuning industry is the Gemballa GT 600 Aero 3 Porsche Cayenne Turbo that has a range of styling and performance modifications. As you can see, the white and black contrast of colors worked out well for Gemballa, and they installed their aerodynamic AERO 3 body kit with a stylish new front bumper and Gemballa logo kit. The car has been lowered with an electronic lowering kit and hooked up with a 22 inch Gemballa Racing wheel set in gunmetal. A Gemballa brake system was installed to slow the vehicle from the 600 horsepower engine kit it received. The 600 hp performance number is obtained from the engine tuning and exhaust system they installed, hence the GT 600 name. The interior also has improvements with new SPC seats in the front, and an interior design kit to match the tan inside. Some additional accessories Gemballa offers for the GT 600 Aero 3 Porsche Cayenne Turbo are mirror covers, door handles, and window frames all made out of carbon fiber and manufactured for a custom fit. They also can redesign the headlights with their black-magic and gunmetal color scheme.
Gemballa Porsche Carrera GT Mirage GT Gold Edition
The Mirage GT Gold Edition is the latest work from car tuning firm Gemballa, and the car is just another of their models based off the Porsche Carrera GT. Taking the Porsche 980 Carrera GT, Gemballa modified the exterior with an aerodynamic body kit, custom gold paint job, and gold carbon fiber accents. In the tuning shop the car received performance upgrades to boost the engines numbers to 670 hp, with a top speed of 335 km/h. At the track it was able to run 0-100 km/h in only 3.7 seconds, and for the curves Gemballa installed a complete suspension package for the Porsche Carrera GT Mirage GT Gold Edition. The new suspension kit includes height adjustable hydraulic coilovers that drastically lower the vehicle while improving handling.
Gemballa Mirage GT Matte Black Edition Porsche Carrera GT
Ever since 2006, Gemballa specialists have been tuning the Porsche Carrera GT sports cars, and now they released the stunning Mirage GT Matte Black Edition. Focusing on the exterior look for this particular model, Gemballa has transformed this supercar by painting it a matte black scheme with blue accents throughout. Previous Gemballa GT models have put out 750 hp, however this special edition received a max output of 670 horsepower which is 50 more than a stock Porsche Carrera GT. It definitely is an exciting car to drive, and 465 ft-lbs of torque will get you moving. With those performance numbers, the vehicle can sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds, and will reach 124 mph in only 9.7 seconds. After all the tuning the Mirage GT Matte Black Edition hits a top speed of 208 mph.
